And yeah Hyo is definitely better than Min, I don't know why I put "/" there. And Yuri is better than Hyorin, but I don't think Hyorin has enough material tbh and we haven't seen the full extent of her capabilities imo.

I personally think Hyorin is better ? Yuri tends to make a lot of mistakes and is kind of like Bora in a way that she executes but doesn't really interpret ? But I'm Hyorin biased so I watched more videos of Hyorin than of Yuri. I am however a SONE too, so I saw a lot of group videos and I found Sooyoung to be better too (at interpreting I mean).

From this dance, I'd say Jackson is a bit better. He was really on point with the beats and his movements were sharper and more obvious.

I believe Yuri is much more versatile and sexiness comes more naturally for her. She is also has better fluidity and stage presence. Hyorin is good though and I wish she has lots of material in dancing though it's kinda impossible since Hyorin is focusing in singing and has more passion in it than dancing.

Sorry I wanted to get back earlier, but decided to stay away from OH this past week  cause had to finish my thesis

   You should do the standard ranking? SNSD, Shinee, EXO, 2NE1, After School. I know very little about dance but I love reading and learning.

Maybe I'll do that later, like Ive said in my introduction, I love how people here go really extensive into the dancing of every member (which is awesome!) but I'm not really like that, but since you're saying you love reading and learning about dance, Ill come back to it later just have to catch up with everything during my abcense

But not so much with what you said about Sehun only cause your reasoning for BoA being less than Hyo and Kahi would then apply to him and Luhan.

Sorry I dont really underestand what you mean with the 2nd part? Maybe my sentence construction is not really good & my english is not that good...

I'll just try to conclude again, I dont find boa  better than hyo/kahi and I dont find luhan better than sehun, mainly because musicality wise I find Boa and Luhan to be inferior.

Hmmm it’s a good question. It’s kind of tricky to answer it with just yes or no.

 

I think enthusiasm is always important. For someone who hasn’t got a lot of sense of rhythm, being enthusiastic shows his passion and his effort. It is something what I and I’m sure a lot of other people appreciate and highly regard. So in a way I would say enthusiasm for someone who doesn’t have ‘natural’ rhythm can be regarded as very important for that person and it can take you far. In terms of dancing though, is it good enough (to ‘beat’ out the others)? I would say no, however I would want to encourage that person to keep on training on rhythm & technique to become a better dancer.

 

I had always considered precision, control and technique before musicality, but I might have to reconsider how I judge lol since I agree with a lot of what you're saying.

But, I don't agree that Sehun is a better dancer than Luhan. Yes, he has most certainly showcased a better sense of musicality than Luhan, but Luhan is still a lot more well balanced and more consistent. Sehun's musicality doesn't make up for his half-assness, but as you've said he's been doing better recently. If he continues to perform with more enthusiasm more consistently then perhaps I'll reconsider my judgement but for now I still stand by Luhan >>> Sehun.

But your BoA and Hyoyeon comparisons have really piqued my interest. I feel the need to do more research and ask my dance teacher for advice.

I 100% approve of Luhan, and I do appreciate someone's input/enthusiasm over someone who's half-asses ( his half-assness... I wonder if thats his "bitch, idgaf yehet" face that I'm attracted to   .) but then again when I look at Sehun, he just understands music so so well, like he hits it at musical parts that even Kai doenst notice, I'm like 'yeah, he knows how to it'   (ofcourse Kai is still out of his everyones league, just to make sure).

I think there is an analysis already for that. I do remember posting a really descriptive ranking for 9Muses in the past on this thread. Try searching one of the members names in this thread and you should be able to find the post. Feel free to quote the post and give your opinion on it. I'm on mobile so I can't find it for you :/

For now, I've said, becuase Jessica hasn't really been trying in the last year or so, and so her talent has depreciated considerably. If she bothered putting in the effort more often, then she could regain her higher status, but she doesn't and Sunny and Taeyeon have more dancing stage presence and technical execution than the current Jessica. Earlier days she would have been top 3 easily, possibly topping Hyoyeon at times.

Not sure about best overall but for females it is potentially Hyoyeon if you use Pinklett's criteria.

Worst dancers are probably Jessica/Tiffany/TOP maybe? There might me some worse ones out there that I'm not aware of.

- From the start she easily pulls the audience's attention to her.

-At 0:15, it looks a bit sloppy. Too much energy.

-At 0:21, very nice hip movements

-At 0:37, she is feeling the sexiness. Very nice.

-1:32,

-1:55, failed to complete all of the movements.

-0:09-0:18, Exceptional movements.

-0:21, slightly stiff hips

-0:28, putting full body into movements that only involve the arms

-0:34, head roll was too stiff. Seems to just go with the flow.

-0:37,

-0:43-0:53, execution is very well

-1:18, them stiff hips again

-1:24-1:36, laziness

-1:39-1:50, shows laziness in both movements and facials

-1:58-2:04, slightly puts more effort, but the face is still letting us know that she is no longer feeling it.

-2:05, loving that added touch

-2:08, too much body into hip movements

-2:23, execution of theending pose was nice. Just needs to add facials and it would be flawless.

-0:03, the way she went down was awful

-0:09-0:18, perfect execution. A bit fishy about that hump move(?)

-0:26, rolled her head too fast. Looks rushed

-1:27, arms aren't looking sharp. Looks like floppy discs

-1:33, needs to fix her facials. This part especially. Not giving me sex with that face.

-0:54-1:03, looks so lost and confused

-Full chorus dance is stiff

-1:27-1:34, she gettin down. Only highlight of her performance so far.

-1:36, don't trip dear.

-1:50-1:58, doing the same choreography from before and still looks lost.

-Finally put some umph in the final chorus, but still looked like she was focusing too hard.

-1:51, redeems herself by doing the moves perfectly, but has no damn facial. Looks dead!

-0:43, i didn't think there was a such thing as too sharp. Not a bad thing though.

-1:04-1:07, mini-bounces are stiff

-1:13, moving hips too fast. Not keeping up with rhythm.

-1:17, don't break your back. Don't act like you didn't fart before you jumped back up.

-1:30, very classy indeed.

-Pretty good for the rest of video.

- opening sequence is very sharp

-hip movements are extremely sharp. She needs to let them flow

-Looks like Sera as far as facials. Just doing the dance, but not giving it any life.

-0:44, moves are perfect

-1:31, yes lord, take me higher~

-1:49-1:58, moves look hilarious with her doing it. Technique is all off

-Weirdly attracted to her dancing for the rest of the video.

-Looks really robotic.
