I'm curious as to who works with them for Shampoo and Flashback.

Do you know if Rino is like officially signed under SM?

I'm pretty sure she is. She's done majority of SNSD's Japanese songs like Mr. Taxi and Galaxy Supernova.

And no she didn't do IGAB NappyTabs did. They are my absolute favorite choreographers. They also did BoA's Only One and TVXQ's Humanoids.

So what do you guys think of LC9?

From left to right after they "break apart," it's AO, King, J-Hyo, Rasa, Jun, and E.Den. They're the ones in the front, the other people are backups.

AO is obviously the main dancer, but not counting him I wanted to know your guys' thoughts on their dancing. I personally love the footwork. Anything that involves using your heels I love.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3HjNHU8IDE  1:25 what do you guys think of their performance.

Omg were the girls having an off day or what? And I will forever be pressed that Victoria is restrained to doing leg flails in the beginning and not getting to show off her dance skills. Hyoyeon was so so off!! And Tao was off a little to, but Yunho looked so out of place during the group part to me.

The one good thing I can say is, thank God Taemin doesn't have toothpicks for legs anymore.

So does anyone like B1A4?

I know they're not a dance group lol. But they guy who choreographs their dances is CRAZY good.

Did I mention his wife choreographs with him?

This is Keone's wife, Mari, dancing with Jillian Meyers, the choreographer for f(x) that nobody likes.

Jillian has the red hair.

He also has done 2ne1's "Clap Your Hands" and "Can't Nobody", along with 2pm's last Korean song, and Taeyang's "Just A Feeling"

I've always thought Tao was one of the better dancers in EXO. He's such a diva lol.

Well from that video, she's pretty good but some of her moves look a tad bit lazy and unpolished. Some of the moves also look slightly awkward because of her heels and her posture.

:omg: Stephanie is not even close to being lazy. She choreographed the second song herself, plus she was the first dancing queen in SM after BoA and before Hyoyeon. I do agree her heels make her look wonky at times though.

Yeah I know she choreographed it lol, I forgot to say how talented she is since I kinda focused on the negative stuff.

It's just from the videos she doesn't look like she's trying as much she could have. Plus, the choreography doesn't really show the extent of how much she could do.

I do see what you're saying though. She has a lot more energy during live perfs, and I was going to post one, but in almost all of them she's constantly messing with her hair or that half skirt thing.

Who do you think better dancers as a group? Miss A or f(x)?

As much as I love f(x), I'd have to say miss A. f(x) has better choreography imo, but all 4 members of miss A execute their choreo extremely well. f(x) really only has Victoria, Luna, and Krystal.

This blog is led by a female dancer and I thought I'd let you all know about it....

She doesn't really update often but I consider her articles interesting.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THESE BOYS CAN DANCE!!

When they first debuted I wasn't too impressed with them, I may have to rethink that now.

Is key really more versatile than taemin? I just always thought taemin>key in terms of versatility because key looks stiff in some choreos (everybody, sherlock)

And is taemin really that great of a dancer as people say?(compared to other SM dancers). As much as people praise him, I feel like there are a lot of faults to his dancing.

1. He sometimes looks like his mind is wandering else where 2.I don't quite see the precision in his dancing

The only thing that stands out is how nicely he pulls off moves that maybe as simple as walking/or ones that would look awkward on somebody else. Everything else about his dancing seems like it could be vastly be improved. Almost everything about his dancing seems rough and waiting to be polished.

I cant really say anything too technical,I have no experience in dancing. I'm just very curious as to what actual dancer think about this:)

God I haven't posted here in forever!

Anyway, I'm not the least bit apt to answer anything involving SHINee, but Taemin, IMO, can hit moves and his agility is very high compared to someone like say Yunho or Eunhyuk. But Kai is coming up in terms of performance. Like you said, Taemin suffers from appearing distant, something Jessica and Krystal both suffer from. Also if you compare him performing Replay around debut, and then the most recent performance, his precision and musicality has deteriorated a little, probably due to him now focusing on his vocal. He is one of the best dancers in SM though. Yunho's height is a major disadvantage for him, Eunhyuk is a much more crisp dancer, if that makes sense, but comes off as stiff and not as versatile as Taemin. Kai is a much better performer then Taemin IMO, but isn't as fluid with his moves as Taemin is.

Long story short, he is one of the better dancers among the guys in SM, but he's focusing more on vocals then dance and his dancing is starting to suffer.

Random question. Do you guys have a favorite choreographer?

I really like Keone Madrid. (He did B1A4's stuff and a lot of YG groups stuff)

I don't like his stuff as much as Keone, but Kyle's choreo here for Yonce is killer.

Emily Sasson isn't as well known I think, but I really like her stuff too.

Kevin Maher is really good too. (He choreographed f(x)'s upcoming single.)

And then duh NappyTabs and Rino are amazing too.

thoughts about the members dancing?

Basic Jillian Meyers choreography is basic. I'm so glad SM stopped using her for f(x), but for SNSD to go from NappyTabs (IGAB) to this, it's just weird. And f(x) had Rino and then got Jillian, I just don't get it. They need to stop using her all together. She needs to choreograph for more basic girl groups who don't focus on dance like A Pink or someone like that.

That being said, like everyone else said, Hyo, Yuri, did the best, and honorable mention to Taeyeon and Sunny. Everyone else just seemed like they were just going through the motions, no power, no strength, boring tbh. I don't get why SM was begging for YouTube views for SNSD and then release this, (like Des said) what seems like an early practice video where they didn't put effort in it.

But I'm going to learn it just because I want to dance when I hear the song.
