A lot of users I talk to here are Ygstans lol, but it seems people really don't like sm stans on OH. Interesting

I don't understand why people really dislike SM stans here. Tbh it's kinda funny lately. SM have many individual group stans, at the same time SM fandoms like to fight each others, eventho lately we're pretty chill each other. I think the last major fight between fandom was when SHINee and EXO promoted together. While for YGstans, they're usually more united, but lately there are many fights between ICs and ikonics.

I remember how they use to make fun if sm Stans because of fights they had between each other.

Incles rarely visit the yg family thread for a reason (... I popped in there one day and they were talking about it...  )... I wouldn't call SM a family either. I mean really no company is, I think JYPE appears that way the most but I think JYPE acts like a business much like the others

Maybe cause YG is just getting bigger. It used to be only Big Bang and 2NE1, they supported each other. But then Winner and IKon debuted, the tension between the fans are too high, both don't want to lose, reminds me of EXO-K and EXO-M era. 

 

While SM is always as big as before, they always have many groups at the same time so the fanwars are exist since 1st gen idols. But lately the market are over saturated, so instead fighting with same company idols, they're busy fighting with other fandoms.

Probably. That thread is a perfect example, someone who critized Winner in there is actually only an ELF, not a SM stans  .

 

I think fight would happen again if there's another scandal that invoved 2 idols from different groups (like baekyeon) or when SM make a great team kill comeback. Back then they even fight for smallest things, dream concert 2008 is one of the most memorable one  .

Can't really say we're more united since we would fight as soon as there's smth happen. It's just we're pretty chill each other. Back then the big groups are limited to those only while now there are many rising groups from different companies...

Well I think they're more united in a sense that they dislike Yang Hyun Suk, and they're more likely to be multifandom since the music tastes overlap within the different artists of YG. I'm not sure if that's "united", but I guess they have more commonality lol

 

ANYWAY,

I was completely wrong about 'Call You Bae' doing really well lol (for some reason I can't replay the song too many times without it being annoying too personally). And then I was wrong about "Spring Love" completely flopping (it did decent) 

 

And I have no idea how Yoonax10cm is gonna do now... I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't become popular cause she's never released solo music (and I want to keep my expectations low ), what do you guys think?

For me anything in top 10 is doing well and top 20 is decent. Hmm tbh station is kinda unpredictable, so fingers crossed maybe Yoona could be at least decent in chart after a few  . But I think when they released it, for the 1st day it could be doing well since it has 10cm and Yoona name, people would be curious tbh..

Honestly I'm kind've worried if it flops not because of lack of success, but because it'll hurt her image a lot. Like people will be like "of course she'd do badly because of her singing" if it doesn't do well, kind've like Hara had that negative image. 

 

As for the song itself I think I'll really like it cause I love those type of chill songs (especially collabs)

Well this comeback better be good. They were 1st to get fame among 2014-2015 girl group rookies with ICC but the rest followed up fast so I really hope SM give them a good title song.
