Joy told the audience, “When I was young, I was on the pretty side so I was told more than once that I could be Miss Korea. I thought it was an actual profession so I would practice for it.â€

When the audience wanted to see how Joy had practiced to be Miss Korea, Joy struck her familiar ‘Miss Korea’ pose, crossing her legs and wearing her fiercest gaze. The idol explained, “I believed that Miss Korea must look proud.â€

Joy then joked, “If I did this, then [the elders] would give me a lot of allowance money.†Now we know why Joy was really 'practicing’ to be Miss Korea!

Girls Generation have currently sat 132,000 attendees at their sold out Phantasia tour, and after their concert in Bangkok had officially passed 1,000,000 lifetime tour attendees, a first for a Kpop girl group and one of the few Korean acts (all the rest of which are male) to do so.

 

The tour has been held successfully in South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and most recently Taiwan. There are whispers of continuing the tour throughout Japan later on in the year (WITH A JAPANESE ALBUM PLEASE @SM THANKS).

A first look at the costumes

 

 

 

 

Currently there are zero promotions for this drama and it's very lowkey since Tonghua's novels are extremely controversial when it comes to historical fiction and led to some unfortunate cases like Sound of the Desert being re scripted and renamed. Once Promise will be renamed.

 

The cast is quite random. Aside from Vic and Xiaoming there's Sheng Yilun (Go Princess Go).
