So why do people think that SM is doing this on purpose? Do they forget that SM is a business. Why would they deliberately be trying to make less money?

 

I also don't understand. There are many people behind the scene, SM's directors, Lay's studio, etc. They made the decision but for myself I can't blame SM completely on this cause obv Lay's studio also have smth to say for this decision. But again let's blame SM cause SM is always the evil one  .

I always wondered, was there ever legit evidence for that kid in the new sm boy group for the scam that he did.

I think there were many screencaptures for his scam, I'm not sure about the fatshaming and other scandals. He admitted it and apologized. Cmiiw

Yup iirc he did and apologized. SM released official statement for it. Idk tbh don't want to judge him but from his pics and words he didn't look like someone who have a financial problem, maybe another family problems or teens syndrome lol. I'm not really sure tho since I don't really follow NCT...

Maybe it was a family problem or another teen acting up.

But from the shows I have watched of kids doing awful things and so they make them go to jail for a day. Its usually the home that is the starting problem.

Talking about SNSD, I'm kinda disappointed with their musical route, along with SJ. Maybe that's their choice but if it's SM, I really hope they could give them smth like EXO-f(x) songs, even I would like it if they just give them SHINee-RV songs. I really love SJ 7jib, it was amazing but kinda dislike thier last album, while SNSD it's always so-so for me, I think my fav album from them is The Boys, so I hope for their album this year they could change the sound...

Well we don't know, people speculated from instagrams posts. Could be true, could be not. Afterall they were/are friends for more than 10 years, I don't think they would turn into enemies overnight. I'm pretty sure Jessica was mad during that time but I think they're okay now. People judge their relationship based on that day alone but after that weibo post, did jessica talk bad about the girls? Iirc no, even she talked about how happy/grateful she is to be part of SNSD (cmiiw). And did the girls talk bad about Jessica? Obv no. So people just love drama, they want to make Jessica-SNSD are enemies but infact they don't know them.

SJ this is love and mamacita album was perfection. I really liked every song that was on those albums. I wished they stayed in that sound and not what they produced with magic and devil. Devil is catchy but mamacita is catchier.

 

Snsd, I couldn't say I loved lion heart album but I didn't hate it either. I only wish for another run devil run song and album before they disband.

I wouldn't mind a r&b sound for snsd but that's more of red velvet sound since I feel their voices and harmonizes mix together better than snsd could.

 

I like Devil more than Mamacita but yes 7th jib was a perfection, one of my fav albums all the time tbh. Well I also don't hate Lion Heart, I like some songs, but I feel like they could do better. They have good songs for their japanese albums, I hope they could do the same for korean albums. But I guess they don't wanna change that since that's not SNSD. SNSD is more into bublegum pop, while f(x) is more electronic and RV is in between both so they're really safe 

 

It's different for me, I feel like SNSD is better with harmony since they have many members, I always love SNSD, SJ, and EXO ballads cause they have more members and it makes the sound more amazing

I made a post about SM should do rap release for the SM station. It seems my post was heard since the women ( who's name idk) is going to release a song. But I know she is a rapper.

 

Yoon Mirae and her group did some collaborations with EXO and RV since last year.. Hmm wondering what happened bts, who knows maybe they could teach the trainees the right rap lessons 

 

I might as well post here since about like the majority of the kpop groups I like are from here. I sorta like everybody from SM and if i ever actually get to have a korean vacation, i really wanna go to the SM atrium thing they have at that co-ex mall.

Yeah if you talk about 1 signature sound, ofc SM don't have it, since every groups has their own sound, eventho sometimes they tried to change the sound (like SNSD with IGAB or CMIYC) but in the end they still go back to their original. But if we have to pick 1 from SM, it's definitely their ballad. SNSD and SJ is more into bublegumpop-ballad, eventho they tried rnb sometimes. SHINee and f(x) are more into electronic with some ballad or rnb too, while looks like for EXO and RV, SM give them more rnb-ballad. For TVXQ I feel like they're more into jazz.

That's definitely true from TVXQ era to like 2013 era. But I feel like they're changing it up more or at least trying to. I feel like they'll give more ballads to solos in the future kind've like UR, At Gwanghwamun, The Little Prince, etc.

Hmm idk.. SMTown usually have around 60-70 songs for korean concert and 40-50 songs for overseas, don't think they would perform station songs unless it's really sucessful or they decide to perform station songs but no more covering songs..

Also speaking about March Comebacks... How many SNSD solos do you think is happening?

I can honestly only see Yuri for Station + Tiffany solo and no Taeyeon   Then only RV.  Tiffany + Taeyeon + Yuri + Jessica on top of that sounds so dumb from management point of view

 

Yeah the collab between the artist in SM could happen in the concert but D.OxYYJ or YMR song, I don't think so, unless it's only for Korean concert.

 

For sure it's RV cb. Like you said maybe Yuri for station and solo for Tiffany, it's possible, and no Taeyeon since I guess it's time for her to take some break, don't you think so? They don't really have to promote Yuri song if it's station, only RV and Tiffany, and Jessica is no longer in SM so I can't wait for media play battle between Jessica vs any SoShi member who would have a cb at the same time

Taeyeon is not coming back before the haters (its mostly them) saying that SM is overworking her. Its like their mad that taeyeon is doing what she loves

 

But right now taeyeon is taking a break.

 

I could see sunny doing a station and maybe seohyun when she is not busy with her musical.

 

Lol... Idk about haters but as Taeyeon's fan, I just want her to take a break and a really good vacation, which is what she is doing rn I assume. She was really active last year, back to back promotion, went to music shows for months and concerts. I don't really mind if she wants to release a song just like station where she doesn't really promote it tho..

Oniontaker already leaked some of Sunny song, I think it might be her :P We still don't know who's collabing with "Eric" for the Station project this week. She's been really quiet though. Hasn't updated instagram in 5 weeks

Well, the only thread I follow on OH is Snsd thread   Since I joined, it only moves like 3-5 pages a day lol Even 2ne1 thread moves faster I think and other official threads move like 20-25 pages a day I've seen. I completely get why people don't go to official threads though, it's just a preference.

3-5 pages still too much for me since I stan hard 4 groups (EXO-L and SM trinity aka the girls lmao, also some other groups but don't really follow them as close as this 4) and since I found out that many fans usually still post important things outside the thread so in the end I just follow general forum. I guess thread moved fast esp when there's a cb or a concert, which is why I only post on faves thread during concerts cause I need someone to spam with lmaoo...
