I mean the rest of the Korean members can never leave cuz of how messed up Korea is i.e. they'll be blacklisted from tv and have the traitor thing on their backs forever. Kris and Luhan escaped but not fully cuz of the lawsuit and they have the traitor thing on their backs... Smh..At least they can work and get that Chinese money.. Buttttt Zhang CEO can stay in Exo, get that Korean money and fans AND STILL manipulate SM, fly to China when he wants and do personal stuff, gain Chinese fans and STILL GET THAT CHINESE MONEY.. I bet he dgaf about the petty Korean hate when he's building a Chinese fanbase...lol Korean+Chinese money ... Lay stays winning.. Golden Haze 1,841 Posted June 6, 2015 Share Posted June 6, 2015 Tbh i can't help but agree with you. its kind of sad how if any of the korean members decided to pack up and leave sm, theyre careers would die on the spot. whereas any of the chinese members have china to go home too and make it big like kris and luhan. unless of courses one of the other big 3 takes them as their own? idk but i feel for them. theyre chained down to sm. i mean look how petty they are one comes to kris and luhan, everyone moved on but sm, still butt hurt. but in my honest opinion lay is staying with exo, because he wants to, not because he has to. he's a loyal person in general. I think with 'manipulating sm' is meant getting a studio. SM never planned to give Lay a studio and if Lay really bothered sm they would have terminated his contract like you said. SM doesnt own it, they just gave Lay the go signal that he can open his own studio to promote himself and EXO more in China... idk about whether SM gets a percentage of the income though... Look at how SM try to negotiate with Tao. Lay is the first one getting personal studio in along SMs history, good for him, he is winning at the moment. Though KrisHan still not fully free from SM but at least they have more time to build their career at an earlier time than Lay, so if the two continue to run in the long runway without decrease the speed, they will get their dream as well.
