The Unpopular Opinions Thread (Read OP)

Why does it seem like such a hard concept to get? If u dislike something, don't talk about it. If you say you dislike or even hate it but you keep talking about it then you actually enjoy it, maybe not the thing itself but talking about the thing u supposedly dislike. Therefore u don't fully dislike/hate it

This doesn't apply for criticism since everyone deserves it from time to time, but to these ppl who keep talking abt something bc they "hate" it. Thats just annoying and everyone can notice ur passion but u

Most ppl who hype superhero movies and game of thrones are the same who used to judge ppl who like comics and fantasy tbh

Good that now its considered "cool" but ppl who liked the very same stuff some decades ago were considered weirdos and now everyone's acting like that never happened

Its crazy how things can change

Robert Pattinson is 100% the perfect choice to play Batman. Only non DC/Batman fans or people who still judge Twilight - despite the guy proved he's a great actor already - would laugh at the choice. Pattinson always had this sad and serious semblance - exactly like Batman. He has the jawline too! Perfect Bruce Wayne easily, and I say that as not just a Batman/DC fan but Christian Bale's fan as well. The only thing that doesn't match is his blondish hair, but that was already solved. :)

The most annoying thing about kpop I guess, is how absolutely irrelevant people get attention by bashing the faves of other fandoms as if their opinion was relevant to begin with. Stan twt is prime example of this phenomenon.  I think everyone would benefit from having some thick skin and stop being so fucking sensitive. If what someone said is mean, but not worth reporting, then maybe you're part of the problem by giving attention to clout chasers.

i see a lot of ppl using liza soberano to put nancy down but i find nancy way prettier and attractive than liza and i'd rather look like nancy than the latter. liza is definitely beautiful by standard but imo is the boring standard type of beauty, there's nothing really interesting or like you've never seen before? meanwhile i could look at nancy for hours for some reason. also i do believe a lot of ppl say liza is prettier bc she was already famous when bb blowed up and bc ppl hate mmld and nancy in general and think nancy has a mean face and attitude. i just don't buy the "nancy is only relevant bc she looks like liza" talk at all. having a different taste and thinking liza is prettier is one thing, saying that the other is only relevant because she looks like the other is another. just admit the girl is drop dead gorgeous or that you dislike her lol it won't hurt.

i saw a lot of people saying monbebes should have used the same energy we had trying to make wonho come back to promo them long ago instead, and while i agree yes monbebes are lazy as fuck, the thing is, doing something for someone you really care about because you have no other option is very different than doing something for someone mostly for bragging rights. a member's departure is not the same as success achievements, it's not even comparable. some people (or just fandoms, to generalize) are just moved by other things beside popularity or sales, y'know.

Might be asking too much since the of games are pretty good as they are, but Atlus still can do better, like giving options to which gender you want to play as again in Persona, they did it so well in P3, you can tell they put thought on it and gave us a immersive gameplay by changing the details to match more with a female protagonist, it's fun and the female mc doesn't feel like she was obviously meant to be male as it usually is in rpg games where you can choose your gender, but not really. Feels more like they planned it since the beginning. Since they did it so well I don't get why they won't do it again, I know it takes time but it's fun to play with another perspective, I know female audience is not the target of Atlus but they could make so much money if they knew they could, female players love visual novels and Persona is top tier when it comes to this, and it's so much better because it doesn't feel like a cheesy ass story with way too much romance in it. Look, I'm not asking for them to change Persona, I'm literally just asking they do what they did in P3 in the new games, that can't be too much to ask. Also, I really don't get why they hint so much gay characters in the game but only allow you to date female if you're male. Yosuke sound so annoying and homophobic if you play P4 not knowing he was originally meant to have a crush on the mc. Come on Atlus, it's 2020 now... What you're afraid of? Just keep the quality and everything else will be okay.

I dislike the gaming community. Unless it's a game meant to be experienced with other people (shooting, fighting, mmo or even horror) it's better to experience a videogame alone. I only care about what someone else have to say about a game if that will prevent me from wasting my money. And sometimes they're not even reliable, considering how close minded most of the gaming community are.

Tbh... I feel like skincare is so overrated. Sure taking care of your skin should be something, but i keep seeing so many people acting like skincare routines are some sort of sacred ritual that you need to feel better about yourself... I dont get it tbh. Its literally just a bunch of products you use on your face.

The truth most women know but dont say is that if a guy want to be with her for her looks, because she's gorgeous, hot, 10/10 or whatever, this same guy will ditch her the moment he find someone "hotter". Guys are so stupid that they think we dont pay attention to these things and keep being so open about how shallow they are. That's why even when girls have many "options" because of her looks, they choose none.

I love How You Like That. Imo it sounds like a runway song and the parts are very catchy, better than DDDD and KTL. It's impossible for Blackpink to please everyone, especially when all kpop stans have an eye on them unlike other nugu groups that release similar music and no one cares because they don't even bother to check. The songs before DDDD were more creative, but if that's the route they are taking I won't complain as long it sounds fun. If people dislike it they should just move on instead of relying on the past demanding similar songs like the ones released in 2016.

Couples who are always showing to the rest of the world how happy they are together and how perfect they are for each other makes me cringe so hard. It's not cute at all... It looks like they're hiding their own insecurities behind each other or using their s/o as trophies. I'd rather be single if that's what "falling in love" is. Imo romantic relationships should be private as possible, if it's good you dont have to show others it is. These tall bf short gf videos for example always look fetishist af to me, yikes.
