Super M did benefit Baekhyun. He wont be hitting 1m album sales for Candy on Hanteo without Super M.

NCT has been gaining a lot fans that wasnt into EXO at any point and Super M allows Baekhyun to gain exposure among them.

And Super M allows Baekhyun to be seen beyond a member that is from previous generation top group. In a similar way Kyungsoo is gaining new fans from his acting projects.

Super M also allow Baekhyun to be seen as the best vocalist of a group. Chen is a better vocalist and Kyungsoo has similar level of singing skills. Meanwhile in Super M, no arguement on Baekhyun being the best singer.

There's nothing wrong with people caring about looks when it comes to potential partners.
People always say it's shallow and say things like 'people can't help how they look', but that's not true. You can get a haircut, wear different clothes, wear makeup and you could even get plastic surgery. Basically, literally everyone can improve their looks and even people who aren't conventionally good looking can improve their appearence too. Besides, whether people will admit it or not, physical attraction is important. So there's no use being in a relationship with someone who you don't find physically attractive.

If you say "black women are trash", you deserve a "fuck you". I think we all agree on that right?

However if you say "white men are trash" you ALSO deserve a "fuck you".

Listen, I sympathize and maybe even empathize with whatever injustice you've suffered at the hands of a white person or a man.

But bad experiences and personal trauma do not give you the right to lash out, say fucked up shit and be an asshole. And then you have the nerve to get indignant when people call you out.

You can't passionately defend your right to behave and react however you want and not expect others to do the same. The shit you say can offend people too.

And you can go and on about "privilege this, oppression that, society this and that etc", all that stuff may be valid but that don't excuse or justify the disgusting behavior YOU are exhibiting.

If you say fucked up hateful shit about ANYBODY, I'm gonna cuss you the fuck out. Period.

I forgot what I came here in to rant about.  Something about able-bodied people.

Anyways, white men colonized the whole fucking world yet people really do be getting offended about people saying anything negative about white men. Like boohoo, bitch, someone said something true about a white bitch. The worst you get is feeling personally attacked even though you didn't do anything wrong. I would take getting slightly offended over something I didn't do over being killed or attacked.

Lol.

The point is, regardless of what is going on in society and what happened in history, disgusting behavior like saying borderline sociopathic shit is never justified and it should be called out, no matter who it's aimed at or who it's coming from.

It's mind blowing to think THAT's a controversial statement to make. Y'all seriously need some professional help.

The concept of generations in kpop is dumb and has no clearly defined line. No one ever agrees on when a generation started or what is an indicator of it, it's just cobbled together opinions thrown around as a fact. And those lines are getting desperately blurred at this point when you have some arguing 3rd gen lasted 5 years, or 3rd gen is actually 4th gen, or we're still in 3rd gen for x amount of time, etcetc

I do not expect woke twt to be intelligent or something but I expect them to be at least coherent. They keep preaching "eat the rich" but go on making classist comments targeting broke ppl like "twt for Android" or "twt for web app". Ppl will try to defend it by saying it's a joke when it really doesn't add anything to the conversation. Android phones aren't as cheap as ppl think, depending on which country you live at least. And lastly, there's nothing wrong with owning Android phones when they could be as good or even better than iphone lol.

So during Icy people were saying how they liked the song till around the chorus part. For Not Shy its some of the beginning parts I didn't like.  Which suddenly made me realise where the problem might be.

The rapping. It seems to me that it's always the rap parts in itzy songs (particularly by ryujin and yeji) that kinda ruins the song for me, even if it had a lot of potential. I think its bc they kinda just shout out the lines(like talk rapping except its shout rapping), instead of like rhythmic rapping? But then in Wannabe it was all good bc their rapping was more melodic (like closer to singing than rapping).

So imo yeji should be utilised more as the lead vocal as she sounds good singing, and can manage stable vocals while performing. Instead yuna can rap more bc her voice is very sharp/cutting without being harsh and I see a lot of potential in that. And for ryujin, I think the rapper image really suits her but she'll just need better guidance. This might help more people appreciate itzy songs bc the girls are great.

And tbh I sometimes wonder why jyp doesn't start focusing more on rap and vocal training. All their groups stand out for their amazing dance.  And some of their artists are also good vocals but tbh..unlike the popular opinions focusing on jype vocals, I'm more concerned about the rapping. I remember leah getting a lot of hate for not being stable during a perf...but girl can actually sing the other times, as opposed to some of their rappers not exactly rapping even when not dancing. That's fine for concepts like twice's but I think rap training could definitely help the more hip-hop based concepts like itzy or got7.

Sehun chanyeol combo is not..suitable (?)

I honestly think chanyeol better off as a soloist, his rap might get mix opinions but his singing is not bad.

I love you sehun but tbh his part kinda ruin some of the songs for me :(. Sehun also has a chance to be soloist, he has the biggest fanbase in china. He has a chance to be the next million seller soloist

I don't actually think that every single member should sing the same amount of lines, they should give them lines based on how much they fit them so in this way the song would sound better.
