I love the direction the Twice has been going with their music lately AND I love their traditional sound as well, so that's not a backhanded compliment shading their older songs like I've seen a lot of people do. Neither type of sound/image is better or worse, they're just different. Same with groups Apink and Mamamoo. You can like the cutesy side and like the darker side at the same time. I should know, I'm a Reveluv.

On a similar note, if you think Bad Boy and Psycho are the ONLY good songs from Red Velvet in the last couple years and you want every RV song to have that style of music, then Red Velvet is clearly just not the group for you. You want a dark, sexy smooth look and sound EVERY comeback that's fine but don't try stanning RV if you're expecting that. They never have been that, they never will be that.

Animal Crossing New Horizons and The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild are both two of the worst games in their respective franchises. Both franchises are two of my favourites of all time, but I was left so disappointed.

Making the story non linear in BOTW killed the story and the flow of the game and the addition of crafting was both annoying and unnecessary. It was annoying af that the master sword had to re-charge and having weapons constantly break drove me insane. If people wanted a non-linear story and crafting they would play a different game, so I don't get why Nintendo changed an already loved and well established franchise.

The same goes for Animal crossing. Having tools break kills the fun. I don't want to waste time chopping a bunch of wood and gathering materials just so I can carry on fishing or whatever. It's just an unnecessary tangent. I don't mind playing the game slowly because that's how I usually play animal crossing anyway, but new horizons was way too slow to start even for me and it killed the fun somewhat.

This whole "Glee curse" thing, I don't know if I'm offended by it, though I might agree that comparing Mark Sailing's situation to Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera is pretty fucked up and it's even more fucked up if it ends up being viral/trendy, I do think it's bit of a reach.

A recovering addict having a relapse and dying (Cory) and a sex offender taking his own life to avoid prison (Mark) are self inflicted problems that came to one of their many potential logical conclusions, the most tragic conclusions, but logical nonetheless. Kinda hard to blame those things on a curse.

They're not really the same as someone suddenly losing their life in an accident like Naya.

I don't know if this is an actual unpopular opinion but since I've never seen anyone say it, I'll consider it as such.

I really, really don't like Joy's fashion on Instagram. I've been thinking that maybe I just don't like the 90s aesthetic or whatever aesthetic she's going for, but I've seen a lot of people wear that aesthetic and I like it. This stuff is just an abomination, I'm sorry Joy.

 

Sometimes I feel like she's just putting together all kinds of "weird" styles that she can think of to seem different and cool.

This is not an unpopular opinion. This is just something I noticed.  Like a lot of makeup looks looks on kpop idols originated from other countries, like Japan. The circle lenses, tattoo tights, under eye blush, the sprinkle of little gems and geometric shaped glitter, the sailor inspired outfits. Like people need to stop crediting korea for some stuff like this and also with food. Like suddenly asian sweet potatoes, pumpkin squash, persimmons, asian pears, have become "korean" sweet potatoes, "korean" pumpkin, "korean" persimmons, "korean" pears.

im sorry but your awesome 900+ album collection and photocard collection isn't actually worth jack when you take into consideration the amount the album and shipping costs and you are sacrificing precious room that will no doubt become more precious as you become an adult and have to actually pay for a large home/apartment which results in selling your brand new $30 album for $5 on ebay. 

 

personally i prefer wasting my money on concerts and trips to Korea since i can actually see the artists and have an unforgettable experience and if IZ*ONE wasn't temporary i sure as heck still wouldn't buy every single ver of their albums

Maybe it's not a big deal but I really hate when k-pop fans wants their favs to be a flop so badly. I've notice this with army and reveluv the most. Like you go on youtube and you see so many video titled 'from nobody to legends' or even 'from failure to national gg' type of video. There's probably more but these are the one I see the most. Just why?? With group like bts and rv on top of that! Why do their fans clings to this narrative? They never flopped! They were never on the edge to be disbanded by their company just because they didn't sell 500k album on their first year. C'mon that's not how it works! This is really insulting to those groups who actually struggled to gain some success and then eventually had to disband. Also hate comments? Pls everyone gets them, your favs is not that special to avoid it. The victim mentality is real.
