Im gonna get negged to hell but, ppl really overrate Chaeyeon's dancing. She's a good dancer, but to say she's one of the best dancers in the industry is crazy. Maybe amongst the 4th gen idols, but to compare her to dancers like Taemin, BoA, and Yunho is just???

Her technique is plain bad, and that 'feather-like'/fluid dance style she has makes her dancing or any choreo she does look super messy, uncoordinated, weird and just off?? like I can't put my finger on it but she never really 'sticks' or makes her movements sharp enough so there's no contrast between each move (meaning that each move is always executed with the same amount of power) and it just doesn't look good. In fact, sometimes she just ends up making the choreo look entirely different from the original (if that makes any sense idk any other way to word it).

I’m not a huge fan of nct dreams Reload album, I’m kind of disappointed and underwhelmed especially since this is their last album too. I think the title track is noisier than anything 127 ever put out, and not in a good way. I couldn’t even focus on the MV because it was so distracting and grating. Idk what SM was thinking... Maybe it will grow on me? But as albums go it’s just not for me.

Jaehyun was one of the youngest members (if not the youngest? im not so sure) in "NCT"'s old lineup, so the cutie dongsaeng smrookies mc jaehyun we saw on show champion seems just as forced as the cool princely image SM puts on him today lmao

i don't really think sarawat was written out of character in this episode

pam was his first love after all, so maybe he was just thrown off seeing her again after a long time

and maybe there's still some lingering feelings there even though he's already taken by someone else... oop

i think him being a little confused about how he feels is a nice, spicy plot point LOL

 

but i do get why people are mad at his character/the writing.... it's completely different from the book apparently

 

also this drama is happening way too late into the series LMAO like... at the tail end? really? that's my only issue with this plot point

 

unless it won't be resolved yet and there'll be another season....

this 97 situation turned out to be interesting. no surprise from knetz, but from international side apparently the popular approach is to project both your own country's corona-status/implemented polices and personal conditions. SK had ~10 cases per day at the time(and almost there again after the outbreak) and you bet they were in masks and not keen to get in anyone's face. unnecessary and imprudent the whole outing was for sure, but some dramatics that went on in response.. well they kinda make me want to eye roll.

 

on second thought i am surprised by k-side. silly me, of course there gotta be a blue house petition.

TVXQ and SJ are too "old" for Kpop, not that there is anything wrong with their age but realistically speaking they are unlikely to peak again. SM seems to have forgotten about SHINee and Taemin not enlisting but being pre-occupied with SuperM makes the whole situation so awkward, like as if it could get even more awkward post Jonghyun's passing. EXO is pretty fragmented at this point and they are going to get the SJ treatment once the whole military thing is over.

NCT is simply not cutting it and because of how NCT is an "ever-evolving" concept, it seems like SM wouldn't stop trying and can never get pass the stage. In the past, SM would've just refreshed themselves and debuted a new boyband but ever since NCT happened what has SM pushed out? There isn't even any new GG.

IDK when will SM ever recover.
