It is disgusting when third/fourth generation groups' fans act arrogant and treat second generation groups as some sort of nugus just bc they are no longer in their prime. Some fans of newer groups act like older groups are nugu even though older groups were bigger in their prime and have more popular members/hit songs.

Cultural appropriation has become a joke when it comes to Kpop.

Literally no one cares about the culture that is being appropriated, people care more about being able to drag groups they don't like.

I would even go as far as to say that in Kpop cultural appropriation can't be taken seriously in many cases as the issue doesn't revolve around the culture but around a chance to hate.

I'm trying but I just can't get the Rosé hype, people overrate her talent and looks so much.

 

Also not surprised that Black Pink lip-sync in their concert, we all know how their actual vocals sound from their radio performances. There is a point when a heavy backtrack is not backtrack anymore and just straight up lip syncing.

 

This last statement can sadly apply for a lot of kpop groups even the ones known to sing live, I can understand why they do it to a certain extent when they are dancing and even then I wish they at least sang the verses live, but in performances where they aren't I don't find it acceptable and I wish they tried to sign more often, specially now that kpop is getting worldwide attention. It's not a good look.

I feel like, 3-4 characters would die in each episode until the end of the serie.

I'm not sure, but the group atmosphere of NCT 127 feels kind of fake tbh. Like when I'm watching group interviews and stuff it just feels so awkward.

It’s not THAT easy a comparison to compare the 2nd gen level of success to this new gen simply by putting raw data side to side, when will y’all onces understand r.i.p

 

In 2011, the best selling album sold around 400k, at the present an album would need to sell more than 1.5 millions to rank #1 on year end chart. 2-3 acts at most sell around 300k during 2nd gen peak whereas I can name >5 that can easily sell more than 300k albums these days. The market changed, it was harder to achieve 300k back then than nowadays.

 

Y’all faves accomplishing 300k is comparable to the prev gen selling 100k

I'm not getting MCU stans anger over Thor's development in endgame. To me it makes sense given all the shit he went through and how he basically lost everything, he's not going to be the Thor in Ragnork. Also,this whole, Taika would never have let this happen. Taika IS the reason Thor's character becomes depressed. Him and Chris Hemsworth created Thor's arc in Endgame, as did every director/writer of the individual characters' movie. Also, directors aren't screen writers, people give the Russo's to much blame and too much credit for things that they like/don't like.

 

Also, not @ Nat stans preferring Wedon's Natasha when she was constantly sexualized, bc she held a gun??? I saw someone say Natasha should have said the Avengers Assemble and I can't help but laugh. Im sorry Natasha wasn't the leader, why tf would she utter those words. 

 

The deaths of Natasha and Tony had to happen. Marvel's biggest problem was they never killed off anyone important, and in war its not realistic whatsoever. They needed to kill them off, it made sense to me that these two would be the ones to die. 

 

Also, shout out to Karen Gillan for making me go from not give a single shit about Nebula to almost stealing the show.

female boy group stans shit on girl groups for doing "fake aegyo voices" but i think a lot of boy group members (usually only the rappers, though) also force having a deeper-sounding voice
