The Unpopular Opinions Thread (Read OP)

For real, why do adults (even though I am one myself) don't address the un-avoiding bad news but instead they drag it or subtle avoid it.

Like, it only make things worse than what they are for Satan's sake. But then, they go around blabbering how much they grow up, are mature and so on but act like a little scared kids when the time to face un-grateful situations. Where all that "maturity" go?

...sigh, maybe I think like that because my parents always, since I was a child, were straightforward to me. No matter how bad the situations was, they would address it with no filter. And seeing "grow-up" jugglering with topics that matter to someone is just...bullshit.

Most people that are doing that, u know how he "struggled in silence" messages or trying to lecture the kpop fandom how "woke" they are by pulling the "idols are human too" (no sh*t sherlock) and other stuff, don't even care about the situation at all but just joining the wagon.

Is like that person who never cared about you but tries to be "empathic" when you are in a struggle but you feel that person's feelings are not sincere. And when the conmotion is over that person is back of never caring about you and even forgets all those "If you need someone, I'll be there for you" bullsh*t. Yeah is like that.

I've been there, so experience demonstrated that from all those empathic people, only 15% are truly feeling it.

I just needed to let this out because seeing twitter right now is like seeing "that person" I mentioned above.

*smirks

The fact that they know how controversial is to upload media footage from the event or personal detail of one of the atendees but they even created threads about it.

*smirks

They will later still call me the troll, un-sensitive one, and so on but they just proved my point about many people not truly caring about this and just jumping in the wagon for their own personal agenda.

Moreover, it seems our beef will still carry on no matter the situation is...

Oh right, I'm gonna be that asshole that pops up and ruin the mood, but for real...

Like...really?

You guys are now on and on about how we should be aware and "woke" of depression and "lend a hand" to anyone whom seems to suffer.

But here you are posting how he was giving signs of his decision for a long time but not only that; you are loving how "thoughtfull" he was to choose the right "timing" to not hurt anyone.

Like, do you hoes realize how contradictory this whole response is! :derp:

For real, overall, if the alleged "final words" are truly from Jonghyun, never mind why he felt alone even until the end.

Or why he decided to contact an old friend first instead of family or his celebrity friends.

The point in this tweet just keep proving itself without even trying.

Not gonna lie, whenever a top idol say this kind of stuff makes wonder if they are as naive as a regular fan and really believe:

A) What movies show is a portrait of reality...if we take in consideration what most idols watch are blockbusters. Thus, they gain a "romanticized" version of a non-celebrity life or any kind of life.

B) A "normal" life is better than their tough "celebrity" life. Which, it isn't by the way. No way in hell it is better. (It may sound tempting a life without the celebrity preassure on the shoulders but a normal life make up for those things with their own pressures of it's own too).

I mean, taking in consideration they were exposed to a wild competitive word at such a young age I would expect them to be more "perceptive" about reality. Not only the one I'm quoting but top idols/celebrities in general.

I guess is not like that after all...

lol. while posting about Victoria's new song it came up to mind the random memorie of the time where the kpop fandom would lose their sh*t for the "Baido bar rankings"

Man, despite that it was very well known that those numbers could be inflated fans still waited for the monhtly chart and, u know, as long as their faves were on good spot any rank would be valid.

time has passed and, in my opinion, all that hype has transfered to the "Brand reputation ranking". Which in scent is like the spiritual sucesor of the "Baidu bar rankings", questionable in outcome but acceptable if the trendy ones are on top.

I wouldn't be surprised if later has the same end of the "Baidu bar rankings"... which lost hype way before THAAD.

So I've catched up with SMTOWN in Dubai and the highlight of it was LunBer performing f(x) songs as a duo. Other than that my time-line was not wrong at all. This SMTOWN was stale af.

I feel kind of scammed because I rushed most of my schedule to watch it but, besides LunBer, I did not missed much after all.

Oh yeah, and I feel SM is trying to hard on pushing it to make it look like as a big thing but, after it happened, it feel it wasn't. In special after they haven't sold out the tickets 😶 due bad planning (?) and price according to twitter.

Despite that kind of I considerate it as one of the outcomes, how the Kpop concert in North Korea is treated afterwards is very anticlimactic compared of how was hyped up. But now that I think about it, only was a thing among kpop fans.

Oh well, I guess al those fights, appreciations, discussions and so on regarding it were useless after all.

It's NOT that hard to believe that all this "concern" about sajaegi and "chart" credibilty started because of a PAK. :imstupid:

And the funniest thing is that the people that are claiming the charts's "heads" are the same ones who would proudly SLAM the charts on everyones faces if the scenario was different.

To give an approximate timeline on how long this issue will last before results are revealed, no results have been released yet for MOMOLAND's controversy

Duble Kick submitted their petition back in February

And once again...proofs that this whole Nilo's issue is just a big rant from new gen fans, who probably did not even knew what Sajaegi is, keep coming without even trying.

And the fact that the alleged "client" on that alleged sajaegi factory video is not even Nilo just keep proving how a lot of kpop fans turned a blind eye on this but suddenly care...

You know, from the large list of idols who caused a racial controversie among Ifans (Brian Joo, Jay Park, EXO, Beast, SNSD, Red Velvet, Big Bang, etc) Is amusing that Mamamoo is still the one who receive the most flak from the Ifandom despite they made why most "woke" kpop stans demand: "P-U-B-I-C-A-P-O-L-O-G-Y".

Proof, in articles likes this, ifandom will right away take the idol side but in this case is not

But then again, the fact that Mamamoo's black face controversy blew up higher than any other kpop controversy ever is a special case itself.

'gotta love how "sones" aren't slick anymore and straight want SNSD to disband so their faves can ShInE...

Like deam, they really "love" the group 😶

And lol, another thing I love is how many "sones" just knew about Yuri being the host in a variety show just now through the whole "Sm Is SaBoTaGiNg YuRi" thing. Like SM does not need to sabotage her, the fact that most of you did not know about Yuri hosting gig says a lot. Let alone the support for "Always find you".

tbh, now I'm curious to see what will be the response for this upcoming reality show.

She is a gifted singer with a voice that has been compared to her idols Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera among others (...)

Ok...I want to believe I was out of the loop but first: Which stage of Mariah? Current one or peak one? and most important...Since when Tiffany's voice was compared to those singers?.

And took "leadership" on SNSD's music and creative department?, I know she was on charge on TTS' Holler era style, she said herself, and I think in one of the tours too? But besides that the rest of the members always complained how SM did not let any of them have creative input on the group...so, was she a special case or what?

Men, this "image" she is trying to build for her US debut. ðŸ˜

I´ll probably be over with this soon...but man...Madoka Magica´s episode 9 stroke me harder than I thought warstarplz.png

Sayaka...Kyoko...ohdearplz.png warstarplz.png

For all the happiness you wish for someone, someone else get cursed with equal misery. That's how it works for magical girls and that's how it is for me.

 ...I was stupid...so stupid

Sayaka

Sayaka's arc can be...no, is so dam relatable.

Moreover, as ironic as it sounds, that phrase can be applied to the other anime I´m watching on parallel with this one, Citrus. To be precise during Mei´s dad arc, being Mei the one paying for her dad's happiness how then the plot is handled is another story...

Like, at some point of our life we all not only gonna learn that quote but feel the meaning of it...and is probably in the worst way possible.

You can´t fight and carry her, you'll get both of us killed

Homura

And let's not even talk about the special ED for such episode...

#tbh, I always #rolleyes whenever the internet react at Pewdiepie's being edgy. Why? Because then we have this trending:

And boi let's not even star with the replies...

A youtuber making fun of a someones disease or "insulting" Marvel? #TRYHARD #CANCELLED #UNFUNNY

A random tweet implying that kids playing Fornite should die? #AMEN #TRUETOBETOLD #BRAVE

...
