I specifically looked out for her on HTS because of this title and her performances were among the most lackluster. Daria~ 13,886 Posted June 8, 2017 Share Posted June 8, 2017 I'm not happy about Tony Testa choreographing this comeback. His choreos are impractical and never takes live performances into account. Whereas some choreographers ease up on the moves for individual members when it's their turn to sing, this dude had Taeyong twirling and jumping all over during his parts in firetruck and this is someone who is already very unstable singer. Not to mention the multiple times their accessories kept smacking them in the face during performances. Daria~ 13,886 Posted June 9, 2017 Share Posted June 9, 2017 I love Haechan and he's my 2nd favorite after Taeyong and I'd love for him to get more spotlight but I'm simply not buying into the 'he's being ostracized' narrative that some fans have got going on. From my perspective, he gets basically the same amount of attention he's always had when he's with the hyungs. I meant that I didn't like his choreo for nct in comparison with other nct choreographers not his own choreos for other groups. I think he's a well-known choreographer and has worked with other SME groups but I only pay attention to such details in relation to nct so I can't say which specific groups. Daria~ 13,886 Posted June 12, 2017 Share Posted June 12, 2017 After seeing more of the choreography and hearing a bit of the chorus, I can't say I'm still looking foward to "Cherry Bomb" as much as I originally was. So far I think it sounds kinda bad... Also, I think mass streaming for music show wins and chart positions is stupid and a waste of time. I agree with this and I've never done it before but I'm willing to do it this comeback because it seems important to the members and I currently have a lot of free time. It actually makes no sense to me at all and I wish idols could just perform at music shows for fun without the pointless wins. Downloading the songs actually bring them money, so that's not a bad thing. I won't be streaming MVs tho. I don't like the new fandom name. I expected it , of course, but I'm still bummed. Daria~ 13,886 Posted June 12, 2017 Share Posted June 12, 2017 I want them to have their first win, I really do because it means a lot to them, but so many of these shows seem rigged at times anyway and sometimes the fandoms get ugly because their faves didnt win a cheap trophy that is handed out to dozens of artists throughout the year. I'll vote for them but not with 10 accounts, and I'll only watch the video + performances as much as I truly feel like it. I rather they accumulate a lot of year end awards for best album, song, artist, etc than win at "The Show" or "MCountdown". People make 10accounts? I don't think I can do that. And yeah, year-end awards are far more important. I wish those trophies didn't mean so much to them cos I really dislike the whole process. I imagine that it must feel like a prison with invisible bars. Also, the fact that I've never met a happily married couple in my life and almost every single married man I know has cheated on his wife. Not only does she not write her lyrics but whoever writes them does a pretty shit job of it too. Jaehyun and Yuta are doing great this comeback and so is Haechan. Singing through the nose is a trademark of YG main vocalists. I know Taeyong acts like it's the funniest thing he has ever heard or seen in his life when Johnny does it, but it gives me severe cringe attacks to the point where I always have to skip or pause if it's a live broadcast. I usually have to give up after the first week or I become tired of the song and start hating it.
