She says "I like my negro nose with Jackson five nostrils," but she's gotten two nose jobs. Besides the first verse the rest of the song just talks about how amazing/influential/popular she is. It's self centered and nothing different from what she's done before. I might even buy it. -She really should stick to standing and singing, it was a pain to watch her attempt to do Why's choreo justice. -The choreograpy is nice on it's own but it doesn't match Why at all. It looks even more awkward than it should with Taeyeon's dancing -Tiffany's IJWD is gold. Her voice still does absolutely nothing for me and almost deterred me from giving the album a chance but the title track was just too good for me to dismiss. -Korea's charts have little merit in my eyes. YG has always been a one trick pony (also contrary to the common belief) but it was well hidden because he only had two major acts for the longest time and he promoted 2ne1 as the female version of BB so everyone swallowed the similarities down as intentional but, now, the more acts her produces, the more obvious it's that the company is a one trick pony. all of his groups are intechangeable both musically and vocally. it would be extremely difficult to tell their main vocalists appart in a blind test (Ikon's main vocalist sounds exactly like Taeyang and now Rosé sounds exactly like Bom did in her earlier days before she became unbearable to listen to).and more than the vocals themselves, the music sound is even more samey. to put it short, if you heard one YG act, you already heard everything the company has to offer. i'm going to laugh my ass off the next time YG stans claim SM acts sound the same (vocally and musically) like they always do in any comparison between the two companies to prove that YG is so much better and about the music!!!111!!! than SM. *Lead Ikon's main vocal is Junhoe, the one that sounds like him is Jinhwan I agree with everything though~ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Seulo 4,828 Posted September 1, 2016 Share Posted September 1, 2016 The acting in Moon Lovers is nowhere near as bad as people are making it out to be, in fact there are much bigger issues people should have with the drama but it's all being pushed aside to just to shit on Baekhyun and IU. The worst aspects of Moon Lovers for me is the soundtrack and the editing. The beautiful cinematography is being wasted on bad editing (particularly the ridiculously annoying amount of close-up shots) and the awkwardly placed modern pop music in the background. Seulo 4,828 Posted September 22, 2016 Share Posted September 22, 2016 (edited) After watching episode 9 of Moon Lovers all I can think is.... #justice4Baekhyun I honestly never thought Baekhyun had it in him to deliver a scene so well but I fucking cried watching him struggle with his emotions and accepting reality. I thought IU had the worst end of the stick seeing how poorly written Haesoo is but now I know it's definitely Baekhyun. The writer did him so dirty, she had the man traipsing around for 90% of the drama like a giant 4 year old just because the character is supposed to be cute/childish. Like I get it's a part of his character but they really over did it with the aegyo. There were times when I thought his Wang Eun was cute (and that was when he was tame) but most of his scenes were physically painful to get through because I couldn't stand watching a grown man act the way he does. Baekhyun has the potential to be good given the right roles, projects and good mentors but all that might fly out the window because of the acting controversy surrounding Moon Lovers. Netizens have unfairly stunted IU and Baekhyun's growth before they've even started just because they're bitter. Every single song on that album was flawless and the songs chosen suited her vocals but this on this new album only the Title track and If You were well produced.
