Dang, our education department even put the Korean language as part of our Highschool whilst throwing away Filipino as only an "optional" subject in college for all courses. I am a proud consumer of K-pop and Hallyu, but I am not happy that the future workers of my country would speak Korean more than our native language. We Filipinos don't even have the perfect skills to speak our language perfectly. And the authorities woild put it in a way that Filipino can be self thought as it comes developing with us as we grow. Like we don't need it in our college curriculum. These authorities are even worse than the past colonizers we had. They scrutinize and manipulate our curriculum as they don't do much to develop our education. I mean BTS deserved all the awards they've got, but I was quite overwhelmed with these results. I know it's the fucking year of BTS, yet it seems that these awards shows is missing the point of being credible awards show. It's to celebrate every artists who had a great year to themselves too and not just letting only a few groups perform for about 30 mins. There were a lot of artists who shone bright this year, but where are they? Being snobbed at the moment at least. I still can not get over with the MAMA HongKong speech of Jin from last night. Imagine even the best selling group in the world is struggling too hard because of mental stresses. It's a relief they only thought of disbandment and din't continue it. We, as fans, should do a better job in our fandom culture. We, to the least, contribute to the burdens our idols are facing right now. kookcarl27 1,493 Posted January 7, 2019 Share Posted January 7, 2019 It's a well known fact that Starship Ent. has been shitting on one of WJSN's main vocalist, aka Nam Dawon since the Yeonjung started promoting with WJSN. I'm not blaming Yeonjung for that huh. For me they are both strong main vocalists (along with Soobin) and all of them have good styles. But yeah, since Secret era, Dawon isn't blessed much with the line distribution she deserves (luckily enough, she has many parts in Secrets, phew.) Dawon is the best vocalist in WJSN but Starship Ent. isn't pushing her more in the past year or she may develop into a young Hyolin that can leave Starship Ent when she can. Dawon is a treasure they need to use in the best way or else WJSN would be stuck with the other vocalists' color. KTL, Señorita, BBC, ISH, Eung Eung and a lot of major gg releases this year just disappointed me and proved that kpop choreos did degrade this year.
