The thing is that I kinda feel bad for the other groups who hasn't gotten a win in the music shows during bts' comeback. Bts deserve it as much as other groups. I thought the reason for his hype was because of his talent and I thought that it was cool for someone to be acknowledged for their talent instead of their visuals only to look up his videos and be completely disappointed. Now I'm stumped as to the reason why he's being gassed up so much. He has neither talent nor visuals. He has no charisma as a performer. Is it his hair? Is it pity? apparently, it's a popularity contest and not an actual contest of who has the best talent. so i'm wondering, has k-pop sunken so low that they will form a group of popularity matter and the lack of talent? not only is tteokbokki a joke but the whole show is itself a big joke. my bet is he's being hyped up because he's good for tv, he got the long hair and there is a story of him that makes people pity him. it's like american idol, people only want to see the first few episodes of the show, because it's entertaining to watch people make an ass out of themselves. it gives the highest tv rating. his personality, looks, personal story give a high tv rating. one-hoe wonho 2,496 Posted February 2, 2020 Share Posted February 2, 2020 (edited) it looks off to see older gens performing still when they look like middle aged men on stage. the back up dancers are the ones dancing 75 procent more on stage than the idols. as if people were coming to see back up dancers dancing throughout the whole concert. it would be nice if younger and nugus groups could have a chance at bursting into stardom if it wasn't for the older gens not paving the way for rookies.
