BTS albums keep losing production quality as they get more popular and it's disappointing, in this album the vocal mixing was specially grating and makes me not be able to like the songs completely. I'm also tired of them not changing the design of their physical albums a little bit.

 

I loved BP Coachella performance but I can't praise Jennie with the way she puts everything into a performance only when it's a relevant event.

Ed Sheeran's song for BTS is a huge disappointment, the beat is so repetitive.

 

Coachella is overrated as hell, they are supposedly the most popular festival in the world but they can't get the sound system to work properly and the sets this year were tacky as hell. Some performances were very cringe worthy because of this issues. But what can you expect for a festival that caters to mostly barely off age kids trying to be wild and edgy for a weekend.

I wish for YG to stop being stingy when it comes to BLACKPINK's hair extensions because they have been looking like a damn mess since debut, it distracts me when I watch their performances.

 

Also if I were an Asian fan and I went to one of their concerts and got 4 songs less than western fans for the same money I would flip lmao, what a scam

I can't deal with kpop fans praising the idols that have been raised / are from English speaking countries for being fluent and confident when they speak English

Twice new song is once again a good instrumental ruined by their strained vocals, specially in the chorus. The producers need to make the tone of their songs lower, it would be easier for them to sing and for us to listen.

I'm trying but I just can't get the Rosé hype, people overrate her talent and looks so much.

 

Also not surprised that Black Pink lip-sync in their concert, we all know how their actual vocals sound from their radio performances. There is a point when a heavy backtrack is not backtrack anymore and just straight up lip syncing.

 

This last statement can sadly apply for a lot of kpop groups even the ones known to sing live, I can understand why they do it to a certain extent when they are dancing and even then I wish they at least sang the verses live, but in performances where they aren't I don't find it acceptable and I wish they tried to sign more often, specially now that kpop is getting worldwide attention. It's not a good look.

Lists of groups with the most awards, daesang's and rookie of the year included, seem irrelevant because there are way too many award shows nowadays. They can't be compared with the era were there were only MAMA, MMA, GDA, SMA and Gaon per season. Also it's completely nuts that a small country like Korea has this many award shows.

Empty and Really Really are the only good title tracks Winner has released, the rest ranging from meh to absolutely unbearable (Everyday was really bad). I can't get hyped for their comebacks even if they are sparse with the quality they have been putting out lately.

I wish kpop songs had more harmonies, what's the point of a group if they don't use them??? It's a pity that producers clearly don't know how to maximize the potential of groups and most groups have too many tone deaf members to pull them off I guess. If the chorus were harmonized most songs would sound better than with just a beat drop or one member straining through the chorus like we are used to hear now. 

 

Also no kpop group has ever released songs as good as Destiny's Child, NSYNC and Backstreet Boys biggest hits.
