BTS should not perform at the superbowl, its probably the worst thing they could do at this point. the majority of the people who watch the superbowl are middle aged white guys, theyre not gonna want to watch young pretty guys with make up dance and belt out some notes. they would get so much racism and backlash, theyd probably get more hate than new fans

I thought we were finally over with Hyyh but then the notes came out...I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't care about theories or aesthetic that much.

I'm a huge fan of bts' hyyh era but it was supposed to be over, why does this come out now like, I don't care? We're in it since 3 years now I thought we had moved on.

No you are not the only one, i am tired with this depressing s***, you've no idea.the notes its like some angst story from ao3. I bet this will be used as a plot in their videos later.i want something new not overused theme/plot, i also thought we are over it.

Ikr, when I saw what the cb was about the hype I felt kind of vanished? They did say that that era was finished so why did they change their minds? Don't misunderstand me, I like what they try to communicate, talking about the youth and all but it doesn't require to use the same plot over and over, they can do something new, particulary with a concept like love yourself but well...

I actually was depressed for a longtime before and I could relate so much to the hyyh series at that time, but now it feels like I'm dragged in it again? I don't know if that makes sense...Anyways I will wait the real thing before making assumptions tho

I'm probably the only one who doesn't want bts to perform mic drop on music shows...The song is good but the lyrics are quite arrogant and provocative, which isn't a problem in itlself at all but considering it is going to be promoted, it's another story. Moreover the singing parts are all autotuned on purpose I wonder how it can even sound good live...People say it's okay, taking "am I wrong" as an example but the message and target in both songs are utterly different.

edit : nevermind lol

I'll repeat it again. Kpop is not that deep.

I've never understood how you can be offended if someone doesn't like your fave group and their music. You like them, you do. Why do you need non fans' validation so much?? Once you weren't a fan of them too but you came to like them, didn't you? Isn't this fact sufficient and isn't it a proof in itself?

Just because you're a fan doesn't mean you're any less able to judge your group's content quality lmao. I admit many people tend to force themselves to like their fave's music sometimes but some actually really enjoy it, and some actually express they don't like it without care.

Here are some things people do all the time which always manage to get me in a bad mood :

-I'm not a ___ but I ~

Now I'm not saying in any way that a perspective belonging to outside of the fandom is irrelevant at all and I'm not saying I'm not happy when someone who isn't fan recognizes my faves either don't misunderstand me. I'm criticizing the way people are depending on it so much to a point they can even dislike something they first liked if others categorize it as bad. It doesn't make sense? Do you like something because others do? Wth? And at the same time you don't have to force yourself to like something if you dislike it either. They seek validation everywhere when their own opinion should be what matters the most, you like something because you do, people like it that's great? People dislike it, that's fine too. (note I'm not talking about people who call everything they don't like trash bc these people aren't even worthy and revelant enough to be mentioned)

-that constant way of people attacking other people's faves if they degrade their group:

Yes, that one person hated on your fave for something their own fave did. That's hypocrite and it's all fine by me if you make them aware of it but in the case they're just expressing their opinion, who the hell are you to put down their faves?? Chill, other people's opinion shouldn't be that revelant to you. It's kind of like a self defense mechanism and I can say I did it a few times in the past too but when you step back you realize that it's just mean? You hurt someone just like they hurt you and that's never the greatest way to cope with it. It just makes you seem like you don't have enough arguments and it creates uncessessary tension between you and someone when you could have talked it out more, and even came to an agreement.

I just feel like I wrote the most obvious things ever, but I see it everywhere and it is so weird for me I just had to adress it.

I don't like it when bts use so much backup dancers. Except for mic drop's break dances, I've never really enjoyed it when it's so crowded on the stage. I personally think it doesn't suit them, and their performances where they were just performing by themselves remain my favourites.

Fans hype/subbing official vidson yt is the most useless thing I've ever seen. I cannot comprend why people are happy about it.

I'm sorry but I don't want to see your fangir/boying. I don't have the same emotions as you, and I don't appreciate being forced to. I'm grateful people bother to translate, I truly am, but the unecessary "he's so hot!1!', "queen", "how can someone be so cute and sexy T_T", "slaaayy me!!!", "that hip thrust went through my soul oml" Please keep it to yourself and just translate in a neutral manner without imposing your inner thoughts on viewers. There's a reason why they stem from your head and emotions, and if there's such an unbridled urge and itch under your skin to share it, please do so by means of a reaction video.

Even from another perspective; from non-fans who seek out lyrics for example, it must be so awkward? It can even put some of them off.

This is weird but I realized I prefer stanning groups where the members aren't all all-rounders. These groups are amazing talent wise and they deserve all the praises they can possibly get, I'll never deny it, but I just don't find the appeal of stanning a group so perfect. I like when a member is kinda bad at something and they can make fun of him for it, or watch him improve over the years. It's endearing.

Moreover it makes each member truly non-expendable since they've a special place whatever their best skills are compared to others, and the group just really comes off as complementary. I like that.

I'd rather have someone with "bad manners" telling me what they think of me straightforwardly even if it's really negative than a nice person on the outside who talks behind my back whenever they have the occasion to do so.

I don't agree with the popular belief k-fans are more loyal than I-fans lol. They either stick to a group until the end or straight up change fandom overnight. At least the multifandom culture we have doesn't force us to support only one group and we can keep stanning our previous faves despite being more into new groups. (Of course it exists among k-fans too, I'm just making an overall irrevelant observation.)
