I lived in a dangerous area when i was younger, so near every time i read kpop stans being craycray against some idols/ groups to be "problematic" i'm eyes rolling...

Do they realise and can comprehend what mean being really problematic? Here, it was people assaulting (for example just because i dislike your face and at 15 vs 1 it is a lot easier and funnier), insulting (and not an insult like you wear too much makeup or you gained 3 more kg), racketing (and not an old broken toy), robbing (not a book), being drunk or screwed by drugs at school and everywhere, bullying, ...

I'm also fucking judging kpop stans going craycray against some idols and groups for "problematic" mistakes said, done 8 years ago or more to prove they are still fucking trash. How do you know that? remorse, regret, improving your character from past mistakes exist. Actually, they are just doing a thing as problematic by bullying these artists not even knowing their real personnalities.

Thank you. It's like the concept of change and forgiveness is not familiar to them and scandals in kpop are a fucking joke. It's so sad that it can ruin careers.

Don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not but I'm hoping Doyoung and Johnny are just featuring in the MV for NCT's comeback and not actually being added to the group.

I just got used to the idea of NCT U being rotational and 127 being fixed. The fact that there are going to be rotational and fixed units gives some semblance of structure to the NCT system, so to announce publicly that a group is fixed only to later add two more members or possibly take members out really makes no sense at all and makes an already confusing system even more so.

I mean, why have Jaehyun say that 127 was fixed at all and then later add new members. Makes it seem like SME has no plans for NCT at all and are just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks and that annoys me because NCT has some very talented members and they deserve a stable career and good future prospects.

I love Doyoung's voice and I'd like to hear him sing again but I'd also like to know that despite the unstable rotational nature of the NCT system, SME actually has a direction that it's going with it

Mingyu's looks are overrated and he doesn't look good in blond hair at all. Vernon and Jeonghan are the most good-looking members of seventeen.

1. It's unfair for Johnny since people are all anticipating his debut for years and he ended up not debuting in a new subunit. I know some members debut in a few subunits but because it is a new subunit and multiple members made them debut through the subunit so it still feel like a completely new group.

2. Excluding Ten who got popular with non fans through HTS, i have no idea what SM is thinking. I am saying as someone who does not have him as favourite but seeing his popularity with people that are not in NCT.

Yeah, it's not fair to Johnny and Doyoung.

As to the second point, my problem isn't with who's being added, but that anyone is being added at all. If 127 is fixed like they told us it was, then keep it fixed.

I honestly fail to see the hype about exo's visuals. The hype around sehun and chanyeol is seriously mind boggling. Vernon is the most handsome member of 17 and Eunwoo just looks like a cute 5year old

I've never understood the point of music show competitions. I don't get why the idols can't just show up and sing and entertain for fun. I've never voted for any of my faves before and I don't intend to start any time soon. I actually hope that the broadcasting companies will remove the competitive aspect because it just seems like one more crap for Kpop fans to brag about and get petty about and it doesn't really signify anything.

I like NCT 127's musics but Haechan voice is bothering me

 extremely unpopular opinion since most of us love his voice but yeah, it's unique and it may not be for everyone.

don't let his fans hear you. they act like it is a scientifically proven truth and they take weird borderline creepy pride in it. like....chill the fuck out, being good looking is not an achievement lmao.

---

f(x) could have 3 comebacks every year, one new reality show every six month and yearly tours but their fans will still whine and complain about them being mistreated and under promoted.

I'm assuming you're referring to that thread. It was really strange how defensive they were being. It's just visuals. I've never seen fans of any other 'visual' idol behave that way before. Throwing around oxymorons like 'objectively handsome' :har:

Fantastic baby was a shit song and no one can tell me otherwise. So was super junior's sorry sorry and don't get me started on Gee. I get praising the old gen for working hard to put Kpop on the map but people need to stop acting as if they didn't have some awful music.

So, I watched beauty and the beast and I must say that I'm disappointed. In the end I didn't care at all about any of the characters. The movie added nothing to the fairytale. It didn't take away from it, which i suppose, counts as a plus. Even Emma couldn't save it for me

idg the appeal for the tteokbokki guy on produce 101. his attitude stinks and he's rude as fuck. his voice is annoying, his yo yo yo ain't rapping and just because he can rap fast doesn't mean he is a good rapper.

Thank you. I mean, I don't watch the show so I can't say anything about his attitude. I thought the reason for his hype was because of his talent and I thought that it was cool for someone to be acknowledged for their talent instead of their visuals only to look up his videos and be completely disappointed. Now I'm stumped as to the reason why he's being gassed up so much. He has neither talent nor visuals. He has no charisma as a performer. Is it his hair? Is it pity?

-T.O.P is a much better rapper than GD

I agree

I don't think Winwin needs more lines. From what we've heard there isn't much to look forward to. Based on interviews his Korean is good enough to sing, but his voice might not be. So I'm fine with him having no singing parts. He's a dancer/visual anyway.

I agree with this too. Chen Le barely had any training at all in Korean language but was made the main vocalist in nct dream despite his bad Korean so I really don't think winwin' s inability to speak the language is what's preventing him from singing. SME needs to cut some of Mark and Taeyong's singing lines and give them to Yuta who is actually a vocalist. Johnny also has a very pleasant voice and can sing more.

I'm yet to hear a song form GD that didn't sound like loud irritating noise in my ears. Also, can people stop naming him in threads about triple threats? He's hardly the best rapper in Big Bang, he can barely dance and he can't sing at all. He's a good composer and producer, but that's pretty much it.

RV has the same problem that NCT 127 does. Talented members, great music, great visuals, members who obviously get along well with each other and are pretty close but somehow manage to have such little chemistry as a group. It improved a little with the addition of Johnny and Doyoung but not by much. I wonder why.
