I don't get how non-Americans think that all of the US is the same like we have one of the most diverse ecosystems and not every American is pro-gun nor does every American own guns. Laws differ from state to state, too, and you can live your entire life in America without encountering any danger depending on where you live. In all my 28 years of living here I've never seen a gun irl except toy guns or fake arcade guns. It never made sense to me when I see people say they'll never visit the US because of the bad news stories they see because those bad news stories don't happen everywhere in the US.

Why do users act like Knetz hate everything Japanese? They don't unless there's a Japanese right wing controversy behind it.

 

There's a reason why Twice's J-line hasn't been criticized or hated by Knetizens, or why anime like magical girl anime such as Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura, Kimi ni Todoke, Inuyasha, One Piece, etc. aren't controversial, because the mediums and their authors aren't controversial.

 

For a site that loves to rag on idols when they do/say something that's considered offensive in the West, they sure like to turn a blind eye to the suffering and trauma Koreans went through at the hands of Imperialist Japan in WW2 and say they're hating anything they consider to be promoting Japanese right wing rhetorics for no reason. Sure, their criticism of the IZone member mentioning AoT is uncalled for since she probably doesn't know any better, but there's a reason why AoT and its author is controversial to them.

why are non-Koreans trying to dictate whether Koreans should do away with their age system or not? You're not Korean nor do you live in South Korea so it's not going to affect you. The only people who have a say in the matter are South Korean citizens themselves.

People need to stop pinning all the blame for K-idol suicides on Knetizens when plenty of international fans have also contributed hate comments.
