The Unpopular Opinions Thread (Read OP)

The upvote and downvote system here in OH should be calibrated. Our reputation shouldn't be affected by the people who agree with us or don't at all. It changes the mentality of some users. Like some users here are afraid to be negged when they have a different opinion. Some others change their opinions just so everyone will upvote here. Is this like Tinder? (never tried and never will try that app)

is it me or i just can't see the hype over fx's discography. i never really dug to their bsides because their title tracks are just idk. 4 walls and electric shock are their best title tracks but other than those, i wouldn't listen to their other songs.

Some SM idol who deserve to have a solo career: Wendy, Seulgi, Chanyeol and Doyoung.

Yubin's title track is overrated for me.

DDU DU DDU DU was horrible but I can listen to it continuously.

tbh, the comment on love scenario here is true. it's just an earworm, but not an impressive song. still soty for its legendary achievements

Fandom power has been looked down very negatively. It's like other stans think that BTS, EXO, BP and W1 having big fandoms in Korea and worldwide makes everything achievable by the fans' help look pathetic and very manipulated. We're in the fucking streaming era and big fandoms are good at this

out of the big3 entertainment agencies in SOKOR, YG is the least experimental with the music its artists releases. I love how YG artists are remembered for their hard bangers, lovely balad-esque songs and earworm bops, but this is anything i can only remember from them. I wish they would try something new like what JYP artists and SM producers do.

I think Jisoo is the best performer in Blackpink along with Lisa. Yeah we all know she's lacking in vocals and dancing, but for every comeback, she's the most progressive member. Hell you can see it in her eyes every time she's performing the burning passion to give a worth it performance. She didn't look tired of only performing As If It's Your Last last year. And everyone is still shitting on her since y'all say she's only a visual nonetheless. -_- IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP AND APPRECIATE KIM JISOO

Jellyfish Ent. could have replaced Mina in the SEMINA sub-unit. I know they used her because she is freaking vital member of the group, but Saemina, the song, didn't fit her. Her rapping there was just pretentious. I would rather have a gugudan sub-unit of vocals since the group have great vocalists, just outshone by the pd 101 contestants. Haebin or Soyee should have replaced her their.

blackpink is really a force to be reckoned with, but i do think that they still have more way to go to prove they're the top group. their records are so god tier level for ggs and also bgs, but still i think that isn't enough for them to have the title of ngg. that fits twice more than them or even rv or gfrd or mmm.

For me, the best thing about the ARMY fandom right now is that "we made walls, not bridges" I think it's better this way. Even though it hurts my mutifandom ass, the fact that ARMYs are on their own is the best thing for me since we can do things on our own (about 90% of the time since a lot of non-ARMYs still help us reach our endeavors.)

Wendy could have been a great main rapper whilst being a main vocal if she was given a chance. I know Irene is good too, but I jist prefer Wendy over her.

I also am sad because Wendy lose some of the possible stans she could have after Happiness.

Yeri is a better visual than Joy but only third to SeulRene. She's also a great dancer but I don't see anyone crediting her for that.

I miss the older the times when BTS's rapline get 60% of their song. They were set to be a hiphop group but I also have no beef with BSH got them their pop trajectory. I just wish we can have their songs that the rapline prevails on with the line distribution, because in the past, these were their most lit songs ever.

I had to stop joining streaming partys after learning from some "philosophers" here in OH. I got completely fucked off with any BTS song that I streamed the fuck off. Doing this with Idol, I started to love the song slowly but surely.

I have to agree that Idol was very lackluster, but DNA deserved the high acclaims it got.

Answer: Love Myself should have been promoted with Idol to music shows rather than I'm Fine. I can't believe I am saying this but the song is too mediocre for a BTS b-side.

Seventeen's sound is maturing but damn their discography from 2015-2016. These were their best albums. I can't even rank these albums.

Tempo is the best EXO title track to date, it is a major upgrade from Power last year. I just don't get why Kai has to wear that freaking crop top. And also i can say that Baekhyun is EXO's best performer. The guy's a great charmer and even Kai's aura has no match for Baek's. Just sayin.

I love both IZ*ONE's and CLC's demo version of La Vie En Rose. Both have its own pros and cons but i Have it to give it to CLC. This could have been their comeback and damn they can slay the song overall. Yeeun's raps, Seunghee's clarified and melodic pronunciations, Sorn, Seungyeon and Elkie's powerful tones plus Eunbin and Yujin's parts, i think their version is the better one overall. I don't care if they flopped by releasing it, I am here for the music.

I am also okay that IZ*ONE released it. It's a cuter and fresher version though!
