There are more & more Chinese movies which case internationally (Chinese, HK, Taiwan), Hollywood, S-Korea, Japan, Bollywood & French.

This makes sense international wise since i guess Willis is playing Claire Chennault a famous American pilot/commander who nasically built and trained the Chinese air force from scratch. He had resigned from the US military and started a volunteet fighter group in China to defend against Japan. The US wasnt in the war yet but they did provide planes and equipment.

Besides americans there were other nationalities in the squad so a Koren looking to fight Japan isnt too far off either.

Sounds like a good idea on paper, but sometimes these international casts and movies don't always work out well.

I wonder how much effort Willis will put into his performance too because sometimes he looks like he's just there for a paycheck.
