coward 1,968 Posted June 3, 2015 Share Posted June 3, 2015 I am about to sit down and watch episodes 15 & 16 and was wondering if anyone else around here was also watching it. I know that not everyone is down for a 50 episode historical drama, but I can't be the only one. Especially when Cha Seung Won is killing it. I love and hate his charater at the same time. And I miss the little princess. She was sooooo adorable and CSW was really cute with her. Such a good looking cast. Am I really the only one watching this? Ok, I'm a sucker for cute kids and there were plenty in the early episodes. I don't know much about this time period (I didn't watch The Kings Face) so I find it interesting without much backstory. I also was a political science major in college, so anything with this much political intrigue makes my heart go pitter patter. The younger actors are ok to good. None of them are unwatchable, but I wouldn't call any of their performances brilliant at this point. The older actors are doing great. The evil lady (because let's be real, every kdrama has at least one) is subtle and conniving, yet at the same time a necessary evil that you kinda want to keep around. It's not the best thing I have ever seen, but so far I think that it's well done. There is plenty of time left for it to continue improving or go down the drain. With what I've seen so far, I'm going for continue to improve. is it finished already or is it running right now? Running, only 16 episodes are out. I think it runs through September. I feel like at this point, the episodes have more meaning to them since things have been set up well. Just finished ep 15 and China has showed up with this: They aren't even looking for the pot. No one really talk about this drama except soompi (but even then not many people comment in the thread) i guess because its 50 episodes long. But im really enjoying this drama. rayy 3,021 Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 I'm watching it .. and Can I just say that this Drama is so fucking Dope, The storyline is amazingly beautiful, the filming is Awesome, the Cast is amazing, the Acting is on point, Everything abt this Drama is just Perfect .. 'Gwanghee' (Cha SeungWon) is my favourite aspect in the drama alongside with JaKyung (The Princess' Bodyguard and no he didn't die yet, he'll appear soon willing to save his Princess *Anticipating* ) .. I'm on Gwanghee's side btw xD /Sowwy KangJoon~ah/ .. YeonHee is doing a great job tho, I don't know why people keep on criticizing her tsk .. 2 WORDS .. WORTH-WATCHING DRAMA ..
