[by You-bin Ha] 2PM successfully finished its Japan Arena Tour with more than 150,000 fans.

Starting in Fukuoka on April 7, the group held its Arena Tour ‘2PM ARENA TOUR 2015 2PM OF 2PM’ in 5 different cities such as Osaka, Nagoya, Yokohama, Tokyo and Sapporo. Also, the group’s concerts were broadcasted live in more than 50 movie theaters of 34 different regions.

The last concert was held on May 31 and the members plentifully showed their diverse charms and talents to finish it with a flourish. Taekyeon opened the concert with his own song ‘Slender Man’ and the group once again captivated fans’ heart with its matchless performance and stage presence. It received an enthusiastic response from the public by singing all the 4th album’s songs.

Plenty of performances were prepared such as the members’ solo stages, a new choreography of the 3rd single’s title song ‘I’m Your Man’ and a medley of the group’s hit songs.

On another note, 2PM’s 4th album ‘2PM OF 2PM’,released on April 15, was at the top of the Oricon Daily chart on the release day and the repackage album at the third place of the Oricon Weekly chart. The group has a tremendous popularity in the country and is definitely in the middle of Hallyu.

Meanwhile, 2PM will come back with a new album very soon. (photo by JYP Entertainment)

I made a trip to Japan and saw the concert twice. They really are at the top of popularity in Japan atm. The fan demographic is so diverse, I was sitting down the row near a 40-something guy with his wife jamming out the whole time.

This whole trip was the definition of "WHPH!" I worked A LOT, and the timing was perfect for time off work. I'll be saving up for another oppa trip in the future ;A;
