Daling's Official Response to SM's Lawsuit

Together with Darlings

The 'Darling' app was released for almost 1 year, it was officially released to the public and promoted for only

half a year. When Luhan was being sued, Beijing PuTiKe Technology Ltd was also being sued - that is us; a

very small business. To be honest, we were a bit terrified when the Darling app lawsuit was plastered all over

the headlines on major media websites. At the same time, we were quite bewildered. The lawsuit in which Luhan

is the plaintiff in Korea, is already in the forced arbitration phase yet SM Ent. initiated this kind of lawsuit in China.

It is rather out of the ordinary for them to play this card.

But there's an old saying in China: "don't stir up trouble, but don't be afraid when it comes". Like Luhan

representing the younger generation of consumers, this is the first generation of people in China after several

decades when they are brought up in a peaceful environment. They don't have a lot of materialistic wants, don't

carry much of a burden of working to feed a family nor the big responsibility of working to stand out amongst

others. The interchanging culture of East meets West is very natural so this generation of people expresses

themselves as modest and polite with their own unique viewpoints. They do their best at things, yet also pass

each day being happy and authentic.

To have Luhan as such a director for the Darling app and at the same time have thousands and millions of

young and real consumers like Luhan, we are also doing our best to achieve what we have today. We also

strive for a better tomorrow.

This is enough. Together with Darlings, this too shall pass. We are not afraid of this disturbance & strongly

believe this lawsuit - Luhan & "Darling" will definitely win!

That's a lot of words... saying basically nothing remotely akin to a plausible defence... just fluff, basically   :wth:

^^

it's sounds like a nice, inspiring speech but nothing like the actual lawsuit response I'd expect. It did manage to make me feel a little bad for them though lol
