darn

it seems like this thread is dead. i just found these boys. i'm totally here for Daeil but Cory is super cute and sweet too.

maybe someone will magically appear to talk about them with me.

 

 

I can't believe this thread is so dead. :o

24K is so underrated imo.

 

*magically appears* I'm a Cory fan myself. But they all seem like sweeties. :D

I've stanned 24k since they cameback with Hey You. My bias is Cory  :ohbi:

 

Is anyone else insanely excited for Jeonguk on SMTM? I can't stop listening to his freestyle rap from the auditions.

 

Oh hello! It's so nice to see someone else on this thread ("welcome, welcome!"). :ahmagah:

 

I  began stanning them around the same time as you. My bias is also Cory (that guy has some serious charm, plus I really respect his writing and producing skills. He's so talented). ^^

(On a sidenote J-Hope and I.M. are my other biases. You've got impeccable taste. xD)

 

And yes! I'm so excited for SMTM as well! There are actually quite a few contestants I'm eager to see in action (Jeonguk. #Gun, all the ToppDogg rappers). This season is bound to be good. I hope everyone will do well and thus get some (more) recognition that way. :)

Anyway, I was looking through the 24k tags on tumblr and some news:

1. Sungho has apparently enlisted in the army

2. Daeil is nowhere to be found

3. 24k might have a new member

I've been reading a lot about them that got me worried too. I was/am waiting for an official statement from Choeun Entertainment, but still nothing. Didn't know Sungho enlisted ("what?!"), most of the time I read things about him being unable to attend activities due to his "ongoing health condition". Still no clue what's going on with him though. I hope he's ok.

 

And I also kept wondering where Daeil has gone?! :omg:

I sure hope it's just a temporary absence, it's hard (if not impossible) to imagine 24K without him.

 

I'm very curious about the new member rumour as well.

 

On the bright side: with the help of my dear friend google translate I read something on 24K's fancafe about them planning a new tour in Europe coming January (and possibly other overseas performances?). So I'm happy about that at least.

I'm so happy to see him active again. I was getting worried there.

 

 

Same goes for Sungoh. Doesn't seem he's in the military after all. :D

Omg I listened to their song 'Superfly' a couple of days ago and they got me HOOKED, they seriously deserve so much more love

These boys are hilarious af   :lol:

 

I know right! They look like so much fun, and are obviously very talented. And Superfly is such an addictive track. I don't even want to know how many times I've played it. xD

It seem more and more likely there will be 24K comeback! Not only have the members dyed their hair; but they've also been sharing a mysterious tweet:

 

everyone posted a different letter though: S (Cory), L (Jin Hong), T (Kisu), I (Jeonguk), L (Hui).

Could be the title of a track or something? First word that forms in my head is "Still". ^^

 

Sadly neither Sungoh or Daeil posted the image, so I'm guessing they won't be a part of the comeback. *sobs*

They released some news concerning the comeback today!

 

"It is confirmed that 24K will be making their comeback this August. With songs composed by RainStone and Cory, composition by Kim Lee Na, choreography by Jizzy and MV production by Zanybros. However, Sungoh and Daeil will not be participating in this comeback. Sungoh has not finished his treatment. Daeil has decided not to join in this comeback. Instead, there will be 2 backup members, Changsun (20) and Hongseob (19). Changsun and Hongseob are dance majors in Gookje University skilled in dancing and singing. So let's all keep on supporting 24K and look forward to their upcoming comeback!"

 

So as suspected Daeil and Sungoh won't be a part of this cb, but at least they're still considered to be part of 24K so yay for that? I hope Daeil will decide to come back for the next comeback though. And I hope Sungoh will get better soon. :)

It seems that he's dealing with personal things at the moment, but by the look of things Choeun is doing everything to keep the boys together.

 

I'm curious about the two new members~ I wonder if they are gonna have to wear masks like the others...

 

the ways choeun's message is worded, it seems like sungoh and daeil are either still members or they just don't want to fully admit that they have left the group... hoping they'll comeback but not holding my breath. :unsure:

 

I hope they do a meet and greet with this album though! I want a signed copy!!

The track isn't as strong as Superfly imo, nonetheless it's starting to grow on me. Plus I like the overall message. :)

Also very curious about the "To be continued" part.

I'm so happy Hui and Jinhong finally got bigger parts as well. :)

 

24K was 1st on Naver yesterday! They are doing well.

 

& Sungoh made a reaction vid to EXO - Lotto (and a promise of his cover of it next week)

I'm just gonna wait and get the 270 dollar one for sure because I want to tell baby corea how much I appreciate him, Kisu and jeonguk staying when they could have easily left

 

This is so true. So much respect for them sticking with 24K even when things didn't look that good. Also I'm excited in your stead for your video call. Keep us posted on how it went once it happens (I'm guessing it might take some while though). ^^

Yeah I was reading the fine print and its gonna be in December after the pledging closes. I'm hoping they keep t open even if they make the goal cause I get paid at they he end of the month

 

Don't worry, it's kept open even after they reach their goal. They even have goals set for after they reach 100%
