Jean Grey 2,400
Okay so I'm sick and I marathoned through 5 books in 3 days. I feel blessed because I don't have a lot of time to actually do this. What's your record? How many books did you read in the shortest time? I think I read Order of Phoenix in 1 day when I was 12 yo. Good times~~

Tadpole. 4,154
My record is only one book a day tbh. After I finish a book I can't get myself to start another asap, I need time to get over what I read lol Currently I'm waiting for my Game of Thrones Book set to arrive soon. I'm hoping to finish them in a week or so I actually haven't read this series but I heard it is popular. Is it good ? they're marketed to 12 year olds probably...but I love it even as a shameless 18 year old now I finished every PJO and HOO book in under a day
Skibop!! 8,585
this reminds me of when I was a kid and would check out books at the library, I'd start reading one book and will have almost finished it in one sitting, then I'd feel bad and stop reading to save some for the next day I could sit and read a book in a day, but I'd rather stretch it out
Mees Madds 36,578
One book a night. When I had to wake up at 6 am the next day. Which meant I didn't sleep at all. Which meant a crappy day followed. But those are the good times
Darcy 951
I once read 2 books in one night lol from 9pm to 4am I believe. But they were contemporary and under 400 pages so it was doable But 5 books in 3 days? Damn that's a lot! Congrats xD
xiaodery 2,194
i'm not much of a fast reader i think. the least time it took me to read a book was half a day, but it was a little under 300 pages.
SHERRY 5,081
i had finish a 900+ pages novel in less than a day before
Ogre Shrek 8,980
Currently I'm waiting for my Game of Thrones Book set to arrive soon. I'm hoping to finish them in a week or so All of the books in the series are massive (more than 1000 pages), so much so that there are editions which split books 4 & 5 into 2 volumes to make them more manageable. So good luck with trying to finish the series in a week! Took me 2 months (on and off) to finish the series, and I consider myself a fast reader (HP7 within a day). On to the related novellas now; just finished "The Princess and the Queen" in one sitting (about two hours) yesterday

I think of myself as a fast reader too, plus its summer vacations and i don't really have anything else to divert my attention to. Hopefully it doesn't take me too long to finish. If a book can indulge me, i have a hard time putting it down anyway

Blue_Knight 1,542
When reading a suspense/mystery/thriller books, I'm the type who likes to take it slowly so that I could process and absorb every information thrown my way, especially if it has too many freakin' twists. I don't like getting rushed because I feel like I'd forget it right away. I've finished a novel in two days with at least four hours spent on each day. But all in all, I'm a pretty fast reader when the book I'm reading is chill, like you don't have to exert too much effort in figuring out what will happen next. GoneGirl 2,737
I read Gone with the Wind in one day, from early morning until late at night. I didn't even stop for food, only bathroom. I also remember marathoning all HP books, once I started one, there was no way I could put it down. In general, when I like a book, I can't stop reading, I've sacrificed sleep too many times before because of this habit.
