MILKSHAKE 8,076
I'm still working on criminals, I haven't abandoned it. I have multiple on-going stories and I started this two years ago. I lost all my work a few months back and I haven't updated it since so maybe posting it here will give me a little push. Anyway. RATING: 14+ mild violence, language I want you to have the perfect future. These are the words that started a whole rebellion in KoreaA rebellion that made school children fight back for their freedomNow Korea is struggling to rebuild after suffering an economic depressionAnd the kids still have some fight left in themThis time they're fighting each other for bragging rights, fame, status, etc.A school dedicated just for fighting and holds some of the best fighters in the worldFIGHTING WARS: THE ARCHAIC EXPRESSION Kwon Sohyun: Sohyun is a seventeen year old street fighter who lives on her own and fights for both a living and for fun. She has a hot temper because no one takes her seriously due to her cute appearance. She has never lost a match in her life and doesn’t plan on it. She transfers to Chunseon High, a school completely filled with fighters and starts her obstacle on defeating the best of the best so that she can enter the Pentagon arena. Bomi: Bomi is supposed to be a senior but flunked; although older she looks and acts like a middle schooler. She is terrified of violence but wants to be a well known fighter which is why she dedicates herself to become Sohyun’s disciple. Sohyun rejects her at first but since Bomi is very knowledgeable about the fighters at their school she is useful when it comes to gathering information. Bomi eventually ends up living with Sohyun out of habit and they form an odd but civil relationship. Won Bin: Won Bin is Sohyun's homeroom teacher and mysteriously connected to her past. He is a serene and gentle looking older man who used to be known for his fighting skills but now he just guides his students into using their strength for good. Jung Krystal: Out of the top 25 fighters in school, only Krystal's name is exposed putting her at the highest ranking fighter available at Chunseon Highschool. She is generally quiet and only fights when it's necessary. Her reasons for remaining at #25 and not advancing is unknown yet obviously personal. She and Sohyun are in the same homeroom class and Sohyun constantly challenges her to a fight yet she always rejects.Lim Hyunsik: Hyunsik is a mysterious senior who knows a lot about Sohyun and gives her advice she never listens to. His rank is unknown but Sohyun believes he is one of the top 25 fighters although he never admits or denies it. Ren: Ren is a clumsy freshman who has a crush on Sohyun and follows her around. Ren is extremely girly looking, mistaken for a female at times and also a weakling even though he is ranked higher than most and has to use a wheelchair most of the time. He wishes to always be by Sohyun’s side even though she finds him to be a nuisance. Jiyeon, a strange and quiet older girl, is always aiding or assisting Ren around the school. The Pentagon Arena: It’s a secret arena where the best fighters (top 25) assemble to perform the most entertaining matches in the world. People of all types of royalty and wealth go to watch the surreal and extraordinary matches. The location is exclusive which makes it all the more one of Korea’s most dominate places to visit. Essentially Korea's bread winner. The 12 Apostles: A band of fighters who are considered the best fighters in the world and the gods of the Pentagon arena. Their identities remain a secret but they are in the top 25 at Sohyun's school. The Gladiators: Nine male fighters who oppose the 12 apostles. They are in the top 25 so their identities remain a secret as well. The Holy Trinity: They are a council of three and the guardians of combat in The Pentagon. They are very strong but rarely fight. Their identities remain a secret. Puritan: An idea, but mostly known to be an organization established to control and restrain the children of Korea in order to prevent delinquents, misdemeanor activities and anything that could harm the image and well being of Korea. This included harsh punishments over minor misconducts, expulsion and in some severe cases, execution. Puritan was very popular when it first came about in the country but it eventually caused the children of Korea to start a rebellion which lead to a war over the children’s freedom. Puritan lost the war and in result, Korea’s economy plummeted greatly to the point of a depression and the government feared the youth. KRY: Korea’s Rising Youth, a rebellion lead by middleschool and highschool students in Korea to fight against Puritan. The small war was extremely violent and even lead to many deaths. KRY eventually became victorious after the deaths of 20 of its members on a day called Judgment Day. The party was lead by Kwon Hansoo, Sohyun’s older brother who joined the rebellious cause for her sake.
