[Discussion]B-Free and MC the Max's J. Yoon voice their opinions on the Yoo Seung Joon controversy

Recently, opinionated rapper B-Free voiced his sentiments regarding the ongoing Yoo Seung Joon controversy on his personal Instagram.

It seems the rapper feels quite strongly about this issue, as he held back nothing and openly criticized the Department of Defense. He wrote, "Yoo Seung Joon, come back home. Department of Defense, stop being so petty. If enlistment wasn't mandatory, no one would go. For people that didn't go, let's talk after you're discharged. There is no sh*t place like the army to waste your life. Everyone says [Yoo Seung Joon] sinned but he hasn't done you any wrong," with the hashtags "scapegoat" and "witch hunt."

Another public figure, rock band MC the Max's J. Yoon, also added his two cents on the matter. Earlier this morning, the singer wrote on his Twitter, "How are we any different from a stubborn country who won't let a foreigner through its gates? The articles are ridiculous, the comments are ridiculous, and this country is ridiculous. Just what is this dirty place that has such a secret to protect that they would sensationalize the entry ban?"

Yoo Seung Joon, whose entry into Korea is banned for his dodging military service, has publicly apologized twice via live web broadcasts and revealed his wish to step on Korean soil once again. However, both the Department of Defense and the Justice Department, along with ministries that handle military service, are unrelenting in their stance. They firmly declared, "As someone who has lost his right to naturalization, Yoo Seung Joon doesn't even deserve to discuss entry into the country."

In the midst of the heated debate on Yoo Seung Joon's apology and his entry back into Korea, B-Free and J. Yoon have added fuel to the fire with their controversial statements.

He didn't want to serve, so he abandoned an apparently amazing career at the height of his popularity, and now that he's aged out, he wants back in to the country and he's using his son to play on public sympathy.

B-Free's right that nobody would enlist if it wasn't mandatory (or very few would, compared to now, unless pay and benefits made it a reasonable option), but it IS mandatory... and it's not hard to understand why the public condemns someone they see as a coward, particularly in light of their own required service, and that of their friends and family.

Also not sure if that particular person from MC the Max is the one that's had his own scandal, but if so... that's not going to help anybody because the public will jump on that, too. Hell, even if it's not, the public may well jump on that. "I bet you defended [bandmate w/ scandal], too!"

Also much like I said before about rain and seven I-fans have no room to call him out his name for this

Like unless your a male and you are forced in the military with a communist country with nuclear weapons as your neighbor your opinion is invalid

Seriously I have no intentions on ever being in the military and I would avoid that shit if I could as well

What Jae Yoon said wasn't meant to be addressed to public. It suppose to be seen by a few who are his friends. No one pays attention to his twitter no way, except few fans, so it's not like he expected to be stalked and have this come out.  I don't have his exact words since he deactivated his account. But the whole thing got blown out of proportion and he publicly said he was sorry for whatever. He mention how he had to give up his own U.S. citizenship for korea to serve for the military.

He loves that country, even though most his family still overseas in america. Yet korea don't treat him with the respect he deserves. His career, not what it should be because of someone's else action.

I didn't come because i always appear whenever something m.c the max is posted. I've quit awhile ago.

But i came because i just wanted to clear up the misunderstanding about this situation. Jae is a really sweet, innocent person, who done nothing wrong.
