Click here to view the Tweet You know, I am pretty sure Yoongi said something like this (that he lived together with Hoseok longer than with Namjoon) once before. I don't remember when and where, definitely not in the recent (2017 year) interviews and videos, but he was talking about something and said something like "I lived with Hoseok for 7 years already and with Namjoon 6 years". I am not sure about the numbers and exact words, what matter is that when he said it I definitely thought that he lived with Hobi longer. Maybe it's because although Namjoon was the first Bighit's trainee and Yoongi got there the second, Hoseok was casted almost immediately after Yoongi (at least that's how I got the timeline from everything I read), so he remembers time with Hobi better? I miss Sope vlives so much I want those two to bless us again, I hope I can trust Yoongi and his wish to make it happen oh wow ~ this certainly becomes more and more interesting. i'm getting different answers from everyone. lol. but yes ~ from what i know: namjoon came first (he was the original bangtan), yoongi arrived next, and hoseok shortly afterwards. i remember from bon voyage 2, after hobi read his letter to yoongi, namjoon implied that yoonseok were really close and inseparable since their trainee days. they were always together. some things never change. the rap line fascinates me so much. i really, really want to know more about them and their pre-debut days. I'm guessing it's most likely a mistranslation of some sort...I think. Maybe. Who knows? I mean, after the JungHope banana incident, I wouldn't put anything past the translators. "Burn the Stage" is making me feel way too many emotions at once and I don't know how to process it all. This post is long overdue. In Episode 3, I literally had to watch Jungkook's ordeal in 20 second segments because he was suffering so much. Hoseok’s reaction when Yoongi talked about his accident was so candid and raw. When he realized how bad Yoongi’s injury was, his entire expression completely froze, and the look in his eyes immediately drifted from interest to shock to anguish. I can actually see tears welling up in his eyes as he hung onto every word. -♡- The series really teases us in small ways. Its so brief (only a little over 20 minutes) and it raises more questions than it answers. I really want to know more about so many things. Like Yoongi's accident and why Hoseok chose to leave BigHit. Hearing about Yoongi's accident was just so compelling and heartbreaking. He must have been so frightened and felt so alone. His resilience, dedication, and passion always leaves me in awe. Also, as as diehard J-Hope fan, I can't stop thinking about the fact that Hoseok decided to leave BigHit. It says so much about him as an individual when he told everyone that he came back because he trusted them. It just shows how much he conceals behind that radiant smile. But we're starting to see his walls come down a little. I like seeing these small glimpses of a more pensive, brooding side. I think a lot of fans are now realizing how hard he has to work to maintain his image and be the sunshine and happy virus that we know him as. -♡- ugh ~ i don't believe in translators no more. lol. i think the banana incident was intentionally mistranslated. hobi's language was certainly very, very...colorful. who knew this he can be so relatable? and i totally agree with you (and the others who also commented). the series is purposefully made to be condensed so that it can be more palatable for the general audience. but for the rest of us, really pulls us in but then draws the curtains shut to so many new questions that we have. i love the concept of the series, though. it's very real & unadorned. i hope they can do more stuff like this in the future. i felt that ep. 5 had a more laid-back vibe compared to the previous episodes. ep. 3 & 4 really pulled at my heartstrings and put me through one hell of an emotional wringer. there are moments where i can literally hear the sound of my heart breaking. 💔 and i agree 100% about what you said about hoseok ~ he hides a lot behind his smile. also, there was something about the way he talked about leaving bighit that struck me ~ i honestly can't put my finger on it though. 🤔 i'm actually keeping an eye on him particularly during this series. i feel that the format and style of "burn the stage" is quite perfect for yoongi. always so honest, open, and thoughtful. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It looked so funny and strange, I mean, why he even took it so seriously, like Bighit for real can allow this to happen, but then I remembered Burn The Stage and how Hoseok once left the company and maybe that's what he was thinking at that moment: that Hoseok actually could go by his own path? Honestly it still shocks me that Hoseok left Bighit by his own will. It's the last thing I could ever imagine. Ever. I am not sure how to express it, but I always thought that he was very into the BTS' concept and group, but apparently there was time when he imagined himself differently, didn't think Bighit's way fitted him and came back only for members.. I mean, how to say, Hobi is more independant and canny (?) than I thought. It was more chilled compared to the previous 2 eps. It was really hella emotional roller coaster but it's good to see they did have a chill time while on tour too Yoongi was really open about his past intentions & goals. That made me feel closer to him too. He changed a lots....at least he feels more responsible to make music and towards his fans. He grew up a lots I think. And Hobi changed too ofc. I remember watching FESTA & one of the members said Hobi changed a lots after being named "Jhope". This will veer off into a topic unrelated to Yoonseok, so I’ll just say what I need to say in the spoilers. Did anyone noticed in Episode 49 of “Run,†all the footages that they aired did not contain one single Sope moment? Where’s the Hoseok/Yoonjin scene? The bowling episode? And countless more I can mention. It’s already annoying enough that the makers of “Run†completely failed to air any Sope interactions during last week’s episode, but the way they treated Seokjin in today’s episode just pisses me off. A rice award? Seriously? They can’t think of anything better? Also, this boy spent a good deal of his trainee days initially thinking that he will debut as an actor, but they didn’t even think to nominate him for the “Best Actor†prize? Wow...smh And this somewhat applies to Hoseok as well. It just amazes me that two of the most entertaining members got the short end of the stick by receiving the lamest prizes. 2Seok deserves so much better. On a brighter note, it looks like we finally get Sope as partners in next week’s episode. And it looks like Namjoon is on their team as well! YASS!! I’m obsessed with the rap line. I have no doubts because it doesn’t make sense otherwise. Yoongi and Namjoon were already rooming together when Hoseok arrived. Yoongi apparently was wearing nothing but little red undies when he met his soulmate. How romantic. And Namjoon mentioned in his solo 2018 VLive that he even remembers exactly what Hobi was wearing when he moved in: a gray padded coat and a funny looking beanie. Yoongi and Hoseok really have the best chemistry! Look how perfectly they move and feel each other.. They are so in-synch and balanced, I can't even.. It's seriously so interesting! I feel that just like Yoongi (and Namjoon) kindled in Hoseok the passion to rap/ musicmaking, Hoseok kindled the passion to dance (and perfection in performance) in Yoongi (and I am pretty sure in other members too). I retweeted that Sope moment so many times, but I swear no matter what I still retweet it anytime I see it on my tl or yoonseok searching. It's iconic! Seriously. Is it just me or it's like there is less Sope content lately? It reminds me of what happened on "Burn the Stage" where JK was having trouble breathing and was on the verge of passing out, and Yoongi had to go someplace private so no one can see him cry. It makes my heart ache to know how deeply he feels and how much he cares, yet he maintains a strong and stoic face for the sake of all the members. The fandom still has a tendency to place that one-dimensional emotionless, stone-hearted caricature on him. As an extreme introvert myself, I think it's annoying and I don't think it's fair. After watching AHL and "Hope Delivery," I don't know how people can still have that perception of him. He has the most generous spirit and the way he takes care of the maknaes is impeccable. I really love Shooky and Mang. They really take after Yoongi and J-Hope respectively...especially Mang. There is something so magnetic and compelling about Mang. You can tell Hoseok really put his entire mind, heart, and soul into creating this beautiful enigma of a character. I was literally on the verge of tears throughout watching this clip, but I think I finally lost it when Shooky started crying freely after Mang places the mask on him. And Mang--completely stripped from his armor and vulnerable--immediately seeks comfort in Hope's arms. I remember in one of the BTS Festa Radio Shows, one of the members (Jimin, I think) described Hobi as having a very healing and soothing aura off-camera, contrary to his loud and energizing on-camera persona. Namjoon also confirms this in the previews of tomorrow's episode of "Burn the Stage," saying that J-Hope is like water and a calming presence. I think by now (after all the disgusting amount of raving and gushing I've done), everyone knows how much I'm in love with the dynamic between J-Hope and Yoongi. It's truly so beautiful, authentic, and magical. They're complete breath of fresh air. That unique electric chemistry they have not only transitions flawlessly and seamlessly onstage, but intensifies to the point where it spreads out of control like wildfire. It just consumes anyone who witnesses it and it always leaves me in complete awe. -♡- -♡- -♡- I think it's remarkable how they bring magic to literally everything they do...whether it's singing their Japanese trot-inspired debut song "Otsukare" ...or bellowing out the lyrics to Homme's "I Was Able to Eat Well," karaoke style. No matter what they do together, it is always iconic and unforgettable. I adore their chemistry, both onstage and off. Incandescent, larger than life, and LIT AF!!!! I think this is one of my favorite Sope stage moment (from 1:33 to 2:22) The moment @2:20 is so otherworldly and intense. I literally got chills! Woww...just. WOW! Oh. Look what I found. I can detect little traces of J-Hope's influence when Yoongi dances, especially the way he compartmentalizes his movements. Hoseok is really one of the most technical dancers I've seen. The way he moves is so well-defined and his signature laser-sharp precision is lethal. I don't think I've seen anyone in the Kpop industry that have that level of precision and attention to detail. And I don't care what anyone else thinks, but to me Yoongi is low-key a really, really good dancer. I think if he has J-Hope's crazy mad love for it, he could easily be in the dance line. And I agree with what you said. It's interesting how Yoongi says so often that he dislikes dancing, but I feel that Hobi ignites something in Yoongi that makes him genuinely excited to dance. One of my favorite moments is when Sope and VMon had that "Hope on the Street" segment on VLive to celebrate 4 million followers [-♡-]. They gave Yoongi the phone to monitor the comments and views, but he handed it to Namjoon because he wanted to dance with Hobi and make his soul partner proud. I really, really want another "Hope on the Street" with Sope and VMon. The energy and the vibe was so positive, fun, and chill. I have a question though. The moments shown on the "Run" episodes are slightly more subtle because they are hardly ever on the same team and Yoongi usually have to find little roundabout ways so that he could have some time with Hobi. I really, really miss loud & crazy Sope too...but subtle Yoonseok is still drop dead cute though. Remember when Yoongi literally ditched his team so that he could "help" Hobi? -♡- I think they just really, really miss each other. Oh. And I still have to watch today's episode of Run!! I'm so sorry that I'm replying to different segments in multiple posts, btw. It must be really annoying for you and everyone reading this.
