in July, so are they recording this song in case China/Beijing was announced as the

 

city to host the Winter Olympic Games?

China is in the running to hold the Winter Olympic Games in 2022. The official announcement will occur in July when the IOC announces the host city in Kuala Lumpur, but personally I think China has great chances to hold the winter games.
