He's good at singing and he has a great personality as well.

I remember i was so interested in btob back then whey they debuted and my bias used to be Minhyuk, but i couldn't help falling in love with Sungjae these days. And one of the main reasons is because: he's a freaking good actor!!!

It's the first time i don't find a male idol's acting awkward and cringy. His expressions are so good.

i never really got into btob(though i liked their debut) but after hitmaker/big byung i really grew to love sungjae and i'm glad he's got this really great acting thing going on. The guy is charming as hell and his acting doesn't seem cheap like other idols. hes got great things ahead of him but im not too sure if btob should be part of his future.

Sungjae is a pretty underrated guy in general. It's a shame that BTOB isn't really doing well. I hope he gets casted in many dramas/films. He really is a good actor, no joke.

 

+ who is the actress (the one with the bangs) in the 2nd video? Her acting is very cringe worthy.

When I used to stan btob he was my bias already. 

I want btob to be more popular, if only they could have better songs!

Her real name is Kim Sohyun.  She, along with Kim Yoojung and Yoo Jingoo, are considered the top up-and-coming actors in Korea.  All three were child actors who rose to fame with  Moon Embracing the Sun.  Sohyun played the young version of the villain in that drama, and was effective in it.

 

You might be feeling an awkwardness because she is playing the weaker between her two roles (twins) in this scene.  She's supposed to have just attempted suicide, still not completely well (physically and emotionally), has amnesia (thus not sure about her role in life and I guess you could say uncomfortable in her own skin), but knows and empathizes with Sungjae's character/reaction in this scene.   She basically carries this drama; it's her story.  She, Sungjae, and the antagonist (not in the scene) are the acting powerhouses in this drama.

He is my bias (along with Ilhoon) in BTOB, I actually discovered BTOB because he was a MC in a song for you, and I loved his cute innocent personnality ^^

 

You might be right; he's not that underrated, or at least not anymore.  His Masked Singer appearance also got people's attention to his singing talents.  Even before this drama and his appearance in the Masked Singer, people have started waking up to BtoB's existence, thus the almost daily posts in Pann and other sites.  Japan definitely is paying attention... and money.   9hqsdbxr.gif   

 

considering how many people are rooting for the second lead, i guess he is getting some recognition...

let's hope that cube will release a new album and let them hit big with a decent song

 

I don't think anyone who knows BtoB has ever said they're not talented, quite the opposite;  but it's not talent that make people popular in Kpop, is it?  They don't need only a decent song; they need something more than a good song...     :._.:

The moment he appeared in episode 2 i was already hoping he'd get the girl

Oh my god. I can't believe someone called Kim So Hyun's acting cringeworthy. Like, she carries the entire drama.

 

But oh well. She looked weak in that clip. It's basically out of context.

She's supposed to look weak in that clip.  It actually means the one who made the comment thinks she can feel/read the thinking process that went on in the character's mind (not Sohyun's mind) while acting as the person she's supposed to be.  She is supposed to be doing that because she is always double-thinking everything.  She's trying to act a certain way (different personality), but is conflicted and feels a different way.  I'm not sure I'm explaining it well...
