Lee Jong Suk Enjoys Living the Life of Someone Else When Acting

Having acted in many roles, Lee Jong Suk shared that he enjoys living the life of someone else.

In a recent photo shoot with fashion magazine, Allure Korea, Lee Jong Suk traveled to the tropical islands of Hawaii to capture gorgeous photos for the June issue.

 

During the interview, Lee Jong Suk shared, “When I’m filming, yes, it is very hard, but when I watch the broadcast, there’s this strange, refreshing feeling. The life of Lee Jong Suk is quite boring, but I spend a very meaningful day becoming a drama character that isn′t me. I think I find vicarious satisfaction in that.â€

"One of the reasons why the resting period of an actor gets longer is because there’s a big fear that we’ll lose something that we have in the present. But as you start comparing this and that, the time that passes by disappears. If it’s like that, I think it’s better to just have my present self be shown in projects.â€

 

On the goal of an actor, Lee Jong Suk answered, “I would like people to think ‘That person, he’s an actor, right?’ when someone says my name. There are actors like that. For the sole reason that the person is in a project, you just want to watch it. I want to be that kind of actor. And I always tell my fans, ‘I won’t cause an accident.’â€
