EXID will finish AH YEAH promotions on Inkigayo today. They will be on a break from 2nd June onwards after constantly working since November 2014.

 

Rumored to be making a comeback in September 2015.

Comeback after comeback after comeback. Their company is doing the right move in terms of keeping the cash flowing and the girls popularity rising but at the same time, it's at the expense of the girl's rest and health.

 

Well if the comeback is in September, that's a 4 month rest which isn't too bad. Yedang is finally being smart about this. In September, the BigBang mess will finally be over and EXID can shine again with their comeback. They also took a four-month promotion break from Up & Down to Ah Yeah. Remember that some groups often have many comebacks a year, and it seems like with EXID's schedule they'll only be doing two. Yes, EXID are working and at a much faster pace then they're probably used to. But at least they're not like 9Muses in 2013 with 5 comebacks packed in the same year.

They are doing the same thing as Starship was doing when Sistar got popular which is a very good way to maintain popularity.

Exactly. Then after their popularity has been stabilized, I can see EXID having one comeback a year like SISTAR. It's smart, and as you see with SISTAR it works very well.

2 comebacks per year is a common deal. I think they need to maintain this until other mems has solo activities (beside Hani) be4 having a CB once a year. The other girls main income is group activities, which why they need CB atleast twice a year so they can have new fresh songs to get regular deal to perform at events and such.

But isn't those 4 months used to fully prep them for their next comeback?

I think this is the best approach for a fairly new group. It will be worth it for EXID once they have firmly established themselves. This is exactly what Chrome DIDN'T do with Crayon Pop and it's why the last comeback flopped so hard. EXID is one my new favs and i'll be looking forward to their next comeback.

Although it'd be nice to see them push Hyerin and Junghwa a bit, I think Dasoni would be perfect. More people will get to see that Hani can sing and it builds on growing interest in Solji.

Yeah Hyerin is the most improved vocalist but she never gets credit for it & Junghwa/Hyerin would be a awesome subunit Junghwa could rap and Hyerin could sing

I think Yedang makes a smart move if EXID is to comeback again on September. Back to back comebacks really build popularity for groups and they do have some time to rest in between the comebacks. I hope they comeback with another good song. I'm also still hoping for a cute subunit from Junghwa and Hyerin, and also DASONI comeback!
