Owatari 733
Translated by Owatari @ www.onehallyu.com Losing the borders of the heart with a common language to communicate throughout the world, 'Dance' -TRiPORT's mission is "Increasing the value of travel," was there a new valuable feeling when traveling the world? Inside dancers,, and even in our everyday lives, there is the grand theme of "World Peace." I don't know if there is a shortcut to that, but by increasing my number of friends throughout the world, I felt like I was being told the shortcut to world peace. Me, myself, could make friends in other countries and when I would see news from those other countries, I would wonder, "Is that guy doing well? Is he okay?" and would think of the "person" rather than the "country." With that, seriously far away country on the other side of the world,I became to instinctively feel like the distance from Tokyo to Ibaraki. I think it's impossible to travel without that kind of value. If you have friends across the globe, the world begins to feel small Even grade school children across the world gather together and camp or lodge, if something like that were to become required I think it would be great. If we have kind of teaching from the time of our childhood, the countries of the world could become friends, the world could feel more familiar, because we could all get along well. There will be this sense that the world has become smaller. But if the people in the countries across the world were to gather, I wonder, "what language would they speak?" That's why there should be a common "dance language" (laughs). Conveying scenery and impressions through dance I heard this around the time I went to Hawaii but, people who've traveled there in the past and saw the scenery and were touched by it and cannot bring it back home with the figures of song and dance I want to convey it to the royalty and important people of my home country. There is meaning in all movement. With dance, I have the idea that I can convey the scenery I saw myself. Not realizing that, I did not set out for a trip. The though that shapeless things can be brought over and conveyed through the body grew greater. "Travel= Life" "The future = Hope" - For USA-san what is "travel?" Rather than secluding oneself from home, it's the idea of throwing yourself out there and expanding, it's a gleam of a good idea. That kind of MAX state has become travel. Generally, there are always ideas of work and lyrics, and when I gently travel I start to notice flashes of these things. Even with that kind of meaning, traveling becomes this grand thing doesn't it. If I were to conclude that, I wonder if "Travel=LIFE." Sana Muñequita Linda 2,566
Thank you sooooo much for the translation! I've always found USA an interesting individual and I wanted to know more about his vision of dance (I remember when he said he conceives EXILE as an ongoing project rather than "a (boy)band" as other people do, not that I refuse to see EXILE as a boyband, though). So I appreciate a lot your work, Owatari!! <3 Edited May 24, 2015 by Pillar Man
