If you're looking for moody shots of desolate landscape or politics in a broken world, play Fallout. This is a brutal, pumped-up ride from start to finish. Two things surprised me. First, for what amounts to a summer blockbuster, the film is filled with creativity and genuine independent-comics atmosphere. Second, it is incredibly effective with conveying background information -- a shot or a line, and you know all you need to know. Filmmakers everywhere, take heed. Always loved mad max, and tom hardy happens to be my favorite male actor, while charlize theron is my favorite female actor. Anyone who's seen her in monster will agree. I really liked the style of the movie and thought that the action scene were really unique though. Would I watch it again? Maybe one day, but not at the top of my list. It won't win any awards for having an incredible story or top notch character development. On the positive side it had a very unique style and some of the best actions scenes I have seen in a long time. With that being said it was not even close to being one of the greatest movies I have ever seen. It was a memorable movie but I am not quite ready to jump on the bandwagon.
