Official Kryber Thread

Wow, this thread is dead.

As you can tell I'm new here, but I've been lurking on this thread for a very long time.

 

Before I got in to K-pop I was pretty strongly against shipping real people, but once I did my opinion changed dramatically.

 

As quite a logical person I'm generally not delusional about my ships, but Kryber is my guilty exception, there is something about the way they look at each other it just feels.....different. 

 

Clearly the reason why this thread is dead, is that kryber is sinking and lunber is sailing.... but I've got a little hope   I mean f(x)'s comeback is going to be soon, so who knows, we might start seeing some kryber moments.....?.

  I don't know how to make it easier for you to picture but basically Krystal was sitting next to Amber on the left, leaning her head to the right - on Amber's bag - which was in between Amber and Luna (Ber leaned forward so there was space between her back & bag -> insert Krystal's head lol). And Luna was petting Bby Jung. So 3 seats occupied but the angle made it look like 2.

Thank you for explaining for me x) I didn't really know how to, it sounds rather complex doesn't it?

Some people think that they had a history together but now its kind of over so I don't know anymore  .

It's kind of sad actually.

 

There a few different possibility's of the top of my head:

 

1: They never were a thing, and how popular kryber started to get made them feel uncomfortable, so they toned down there interactions.  This one is quite realistic and happens to quite a few ships, especially in the main stream.  but this video makes me doubt that: http://twitpic.com/e8flz0

 

I mean what on earth was going on there? they were getting so emotional...? I know it's none of my business but it makes me so curious   

 

2: SM saw how popular kryber was getting and didn't like it. This one seems quite possible, I mean off screen aren't they apparently just as close? 

 

3: Kryber was a thingy and it didn't work out for reasons....? this one is kinda delulu but they do give me the vibe of "ex's that still have feelings for each other" when ever they hang out 

 4: Kryber is a thing there in love and there just trolling us

I do agree with the 1st bolded part. I think both of them are kinda amused at the whole shipping thing (when it's all shipping fun and not crazy aggressive shipping lol) judging on their past reactions to Kryber-related gifts and how they occasionally "feed" or troll us sometimes. 

 

About the video, imo it could be a disagreement about how to end their comeback at the time - considering the timing of it, but of course it could be about sth more personal. But every couple (friends or else) fight, so we can't say argument = break up, couldve been a hiccup.

 

I think they have been through a lot together and they both have that mutual gratitude/respect towards the other so I'm fine with them lowkey crushing on each other for life lol.

I agree in general with what you say here ^ but in terms of this video I just don't. 

 

This will sound very delulu but I've always felt like what was going on in that video was at least a little more then a hiccup. I mean they've been in the media for years surely they've had a hiccup before and had to act on at least neutral terms. but they were literally looking in to each others eyes, if you've been in the media for that long I feel like it's got to be something relatively important to get lost in a moment like that.

I guess you do have a point about it being more than a hiccup. Normally Amber has a good grab of her negative emotions so the only times I've seen it showed on her face since RL was that video and SMTown ending stage after Soojung fainted. They looked fine to me in The Ultimate Group though. I guess we'll never know.

A month ago I wrote some headcanons about the girl's life in Hogwarts and when I first wrote Soojung's headcanon, I put a brief romance description between her and Amber. Here it goes a small and very summarized description about Amber finding out that Soojung had a Cloak of Invisibility and was using it to go to Hogsmead illegaly.

 

 

 

Soojung freezed when she heard the laughs coming from the end of the corridor. Slowly and carefully, the girl took a few steps in order to see the source of the noise. Four students were pushing each other while laughing and calling each other names, three from Gryffindor and one from Hufflepuff. Soojung took a deep breathe and put on the Cloak of Invisibility over her. She waited for them to pass through her, too tense to make sense of their words. Her ears were filled with the sound of her own heartbeats and she could swear it took hours until they finally passed over her. With a relieved sigh, the girl pulled the Cloak of her head to catch her breathe and calm herself down.

 

"Now, what do we have here?", Soojung lift her head so quickly that she felt a sharp pain on her neck. One of the students from minutes ago was standing in front of her with a curious stare. Her mind went blank and her eyes went wider. 

 

Amber kept staring at the girl, unable to believe in the situation she got herself into. Soojung Jung was in front of her with her whole body covered by the Cloak of Invisibility except for her head looking unbelievably scared and speechless. Probably hiding. From her and her friends. Probably also doing something she wasn't supposed to be doing. The tomboy opened her mouth a few times, with only numble noises coming from it. 

 

Neither of them knew what to do or what to say.

 

Finally, the 3th year recomposed herself, uncovering her whole body. Her facial expression went back to bored look and she laid her body against the wall.

 

"Who are you?", Soojung asked, crossing her arms.

 

Amber finally seemed to recover her capacity of speaking and also her cocky self when she snwers the girl's question.

 

"I'm surprised you don't me. Everyone seems to.", she smirked and stretched her arms, fully getting back to her normal self. But Soojung didn't look any impressed and the smile on the tomboy's face faded a little before she started talking again. "I'm Amber Liu. 5th year." For a brief moment Amber could swear she saw some recognization in Soojung's eyes but it was so quick that she decided to believe it was only her imagination.

 

"So.", Soojung said in cold voice. "You gonna be quiet about what you just saw and carry on with your own life. I'll mind my business and we both gonna pretend none of this ever happened. Got it?", the girl pushed herself from the wall and gave one step in Amber's direction. Her stare was firm and intense. She wouldn't let a troublesome Gryffindor screw things up.

 

Amber felt the urge to just respond "Yes!" and leave but she couldn't let this opportunity escape her. She was about to found out that one of the greatest student in Hogwarts was violating the school rules and she would never forgive herself if she just leave and pretend that nothing ever happened.

 

"I think a deal in this situation would be more appropriate for both parts.", Amber took a deep breath before continuing. "You tell me what you were going to do and then I'll leave and not say a word to anyone.", the girl held Soojung's gaze, feeling her heart racing and a heat climbing through her body.

 

For a moment, Soojung thought that maybe the Gryffindor was just joking. But seeing the serious look on her face quickly dismissed the idea from Soojung's head. The girl sighed annoyed, closing her eyes for a few seconds.

 

"Only because I had enough already for a day.", Soojung opened her eyes, looking very irritated. "There is a secret passage her that I use to go to Hogsmead wherever I feel like doing it. Happy? Can you leave now?", the Ravenclaw considered using some memory spell on Amber or even to knock her and flew away as fast as she could from there. No one would never know and it would be her word against the Gryffindor's.

 

"Fine, ok.", Amber relaxed a little, surprised that her pseudo plan worked. "Sorry for the trouble, see you around!", the tomboy waved and left with a small smile of her lips. Soojung followed her with her eyes, baffled for what just happened. She kept staring at the end of the corridor where Amber disappeared and finally decided that it would be better for her to get back to her Common Room.

 

It took only one week to Amber to become her first and only companion to Hogsmead for the rest of the school year. It took five escapes for them to share a kiss. One year was how much it took for them to realize that they were better off as friends. And by the end of Amber's 7th year, they established a friendship that lasted, well, forever.

 

 

That bittersweet ending killed me  Thank you it was such a nice read

but  recently I've noticed a story format that they just keep on writing with a different plot, and I know it's just fan fiction so I shouldn't care.... but I honestly would like it if they could change it up a bit.

Thank you for the explanation  . I may be sound delulu af   but I will go with the second reason. Sm, other idols or their entourage (maybe) saw the way they interacted with each other and (maybe) told them that was wrong according to Korea's mentality on homosexuality. I could be entirely wrong but they seem so close, even for best friends.

But if they're only friends then I would be glad with that  .

 

Tbh I started shipping Seulrene  only because they're my bias and I think they look very good together (maybe because I think they're the prettiest members haha).

Thank you for that ^-^ I will definitely look through it but it might take a bit of time. I remember coming across an RV ship that looked really real, but now I can't remember which one it was. I just know for fact wendy wasn't in it, so it might of been seulrene. Personally I'm very fussy about my ships and I wont just ship because it involves my bias (eg. Krystal and amber aren't my biases) however I have a very guilty truth that kryber was a big reason I got in to f(x) (I ship way to often) so I was wondering if I started to ship in RV it would help me stan them

A KryBer headcanon in which Amber absolutely hates flowers (because of their smell) but goes to a flower shop everyday just to see and have small chats with a girl named Jung Soojung.

 

Another headcanon: the first time Krystal sends Amber a nude on Snapchat and Amber has a hard time trying to get enough courage to open it.

It's funny 'cause Seulrene is the reason why I got into Red Velvet  . But Red Velvet is a very good group, my favorite gg fom Sm along with F(x).

Btw, imo Kryber and Seulrene's fanfics are the best fanfics from both groups

I'm honestly a real sucker for love-hate relationship's and opposites attract, at the very least an interesting one. (Kryber fulfills that with there "push and pull" dynamic)
