First, I wanna thank everybody for continuing this discussion as objectively as possible. That's what I really appreciate about this pairing-- the following. I'm sure there are people (possibly the majority) who just like the pair because they look cute together on camera/fanservice all that, but I like that most of us on here have a legitimate reason to believe that there was something rather than saying they "pinged our gaydar".

But wow. This. Jesus Christ. After that whole analysis and how we've all kind of come to the mutual consensus that they had a certain kind of "gray area" closeness in the past, watching this really kind of hurts. None of us will probably understand the true nature of what happened between them, but this is something I don't even have to analyze. We can all see it. It's truly a shame.

 

And to the person who linked to the tumblr post; there were certain things in the post that I'm curious to where the author got his or her information. The author mentions something about how Amber asked Krystal why she doesn't teach Amber Korean anymore and when Krystal refused Amber's hand when Amber offered it to her-- does anybody know when/if these instances happened?

And I do agree that I feel the respect for everyone here for not making a fuss and be able to discuss "the dark time" in strike, unlike some fandom would just start bashing/shooing you out the moment you say something that's not rainbow about the ship.

 

As of what's happening to Kryber right now, I think there're two ways this could go, as someone already mentioned some of the previous posts. One thing that I'm fairly certain of, is that they hit a rocky path (which is only natural to all relationships) particularly on that day. To me Amber has a very good self control over her negative emotions, she hardly ever let it show (the most I've seen her react to is when there's a crazy guy bashing Sulli on Hello Counselor, and even then I thought she express her anger well). So the fact that Amber being upset on stage, their winning stage to make it even more out of the norm, plus her eyes interactions with Krystal just made me think something was off between them. I mean it may be a slight hiccup that when combined with SM's strategy for this comeback is to swap the pairings to refresh the audience's eyes make it look like a serious thing. Who knows.

 

 

 

I will continue to ship them no matter what happens, because it doesn't change what they've had. If people laugh at me for being delulu, then so be it. It's the only K-pop ship I sail, and I've never seen a more ship-worthy bond. #kryberfaith

The fact that it was Amber who saved Krystal's fall before other members could react indicated to me that Kryber were standing close to each other and Amber did keep an eye on her. Otherwise I think she has superpower lol.

 

What I'm not sure about is if it's SM's intention to make Kryber goes under the radar, then to what extent? Because at the end of the day they're still good friends & bandmates (to the public I assume), so it should be normal for them to be close to each other right?

I just really wish for some f(x) on radio shows right now. These piece & pieces we have is just hella confusing & not clear enough for me to lean on any theories. Pink Tape had lots of radio shows but Red Light has nothing. Damn SM what you playing at?

Don't misunderstand me! I'm trying to say that many people assume it, so I feel like if it turned out to be true, people wouldn't be bashing Amber that much like they would Krystal. In the end someone's sexuality is none of our business and I'm not saying either of them is gay

Absolutely no chance for KRYBER this year with f(x)'s sudden promotional stop. And we all know there is more to the story than Sulli simply wanting to "take a break from malicious comments". Krystal is the member with the most hate comments and ANTI fans and she never got a break. Not to mention with filming Jessica&Krystal, she's been busier. More than that, they could have just had Sulli sit this comeback out and had the rest continue... Luna was so perfect this comeback.

Ikr. Everything is seems so perfect this comeback and I thought that this would be their chance to shine brighter than ever. Can't believe there's no more promotion for Red Light (they didn't have even 1 radio show!) but I guess SM do that to cut off the chance of f(x) members being questioned about Sulli's break, which makes it fishier. Now I'm not blaming Sulli I think after watching Amazing f(x) I've noticed that Sulli acts more like a maknae than Krystal. Everyone reacts differently to stress & negative comments and I guess Sulli's just more vulnerable than most. Whatever her reason is I hope she'll get better soon.

I'll be rooting for f(x) next comeback (finger crossed that SM will give them a damn good one to make up for this time). I won't oppose to a new f(x) reality show either

Krystal didn’t really know what to say to this. It wasn’t like they had a choice really, no one except their closest friends could know that they were together. The agency even told them they needed to tone down how much contact they made with each other in public. It isn’t fair at all, that much is true but again their was nothing they could do about it right now.

"I know Amber its not fair," Krystal pushed Amber’s head off of her and scooted down until their faces were level, "But," She said a smile tugging at her lips, "At least we don’t have to pretend when we’re alone." She pressed her lips to Amber’s hoping she managed to lift the other girl’s spirit.

My thoughts exactly haha. I think they're more cautious about PDA during comeback's promos but less so as it ends. So finger crossed we'll be able to get some Kryber when f(x) perform in China in August.

The bus scene is actually my favorite. They got so touchy feely! And of course they had to go on and cut it right there. But damn this realization totally made my day.

In the first episode where they're talking about what to buy for the time capsule, there's a moment where Krystal starts to touch Amber's ear and then it cuts RIGHT as she reaches for it. Thought processes: 1) What is she doing?? 2) They could've cut that scene one extra second to exclude the ear grab, and yet...? Bad editing or baiting?

 

After watching J&K though, I wonder if Krystal's just very touchy-feely with people she's comfortable with? (Which is fine, since it shows she's comfortable around Amber~)

I think it's a bit of everything, really. With f(x) only promoted for a short time (thinking of all their time and effort spent on practicing for this comeback, I feel sorry for them), and possibly disagreement between f(x) and SM's decision, or even among group members. She could be talking about older problems as well because Jessica had been busy for a long time and they didn't get to talk that often. I'm not ruling anything out because we don't know what's really going on.

They were all surprised when the pre-debut vid came out, Vic and Luna seemed more excited, while Krystal's almost silence and expression at 3:19 (when Amber was on screen) made me think that part somehow pained her. She seemed to be more emotional about it than the other two, and asked Vic to skip the video.
