Not hating, everyone is entitled to their own feelings and opinions, but...

That video makes them look so sad and so have these recent analyses as well. It's easy to be caught up in the shipping hype, but reality is always present.  I'm hoping that if they're not merely toning down their interactions that they get through this little rough patch. Regardless of what happens I hope they both end up happy.

Anyway I will go down with this ship if necessary.

Do you think krystal has reserved personality? antis said she's bitchy bc her cold expression but idk I think she's just really reserved and shy and quiet but actually quirky. And she's only open up (be more talkative, clingy etc) to people she's close with or comfortable with like f(x) *especially vic and amber*

 

Perhaps someone thinks the same or have different opinion?

 

First I’m going to say I don’t know this woman personally and I wholeheartedly acknowledge that she could be a horrible person, but I don’t believe that she is. I’ve heard that she has said some “rude†things and if she has I won’t defend her. Rude is rude. However most people on this earth say at least one thing rude in their lifetime. Whether it be due to emotional turmoil or just being themselves. What’s important is that people learn and grow from what they’ve said in the past. People make mistakes and so long as she hadn’t murdered or raped anyone, or said something truly bigoted they should be forgiven. I also admit that I could be projecting more than a little on her since I’m pretty shy myself and get the “you look mean†comments a lot.

 

Now onto my main point:

 

When I look at Krystal I see a shy, socially awkward person, who isn’t very expressive. In interviews I’ll often see people commenting on how Krystal “looks bored†or “rude†because she isn’t smiling. She’s sitting (or standing depending on the location) getting ready to answer questions. There’s nothing joyous or amusing about it. She has a neutral expression on her face, because nothing profound has happened. If something funny does happy she’ll laugh and smile for a few seconds, but, really why smile if there’s no reason to?

 

Then there’s the shyness. If you just sit and watch Krystal you’ll see her grab her arm or look down. If you know anything about human body language then you know that those are signs of discomfort. It should also be noted that she’s not the most talkative in interviews. Sure she’ll speak when spoken to, but if no one is directly addressing her she’s not going to jump to answer a question. Going along with this it makes sense given her shy personality. The other members are more extroverted than her, can answer the questions just as well as she can, and will give a smile that everyone wants to see, because they are more expressive. If Krystal knows all this – like I think she does - it takes the focus off of her while still allowing the group to do their job.  I seem to recall an interview where they were talking about Krystal being able to do good aegyo and when everyone asked her to her reaction was something like “No there’s too many people/strangers around.â€

 

That is shyness if I ever saw it.

 

I’m sure some people will be like “How can she be so rude to the others around her!?†However I feel like she didn’t mean anything offensive to the people who were conducting the interview. She wasn’t comfortable and there was really “no way out†for her so to speak. So she was honest, not, because she was rude, but, because she didn’t feel comfortable.  She doesn’t know those people and didn’t want to open herself up in front of them. It may not seem like much to most people, but to a shy person that is something that is very hard to do.

Go to: 9:04-9:48 to see what I mean and don’t forget to look at Krystal’s body language. Hiding behind her hair, covering her face, a nervous laugh, and sheepish grin.

 

This is a good place to go into the “Krystal only being comfortable around her friends/family†part of this analysis. Sulli’s response says it all. Krystal isn’t afraid to be silly, loud, talkative, or touchy, but it has to be around people she knows and knows well. I mean we’re in the Kryber thread and while we could debate the validity of the ship’s existence all day long you can’t deny that Krystal and Amber are close and have known each other for years. Which is why she can be all touchy with her without feeling an ounce of discomfort.

 

Krystal knows these people.

My Kryber heart is very confused right now.

So I was doing some thinking about Kryber and one of my favorite moments between them and realized, no one has really talked about it much. I've seen "aww" and "so cute" , but I wondered why it never got more attention than that.

I know it's old, but I REALLY wanna talk about it.

 

I'm assuming that most of us here ship them romantically and try to prove their feelings/relationship or whatever they've got going on. So it's a surprise no one has really talked about it. My delulu shipper heart says that they almost kissed, but my brain says they could've just been whispering to each other.

 

Personally I'm going to go with my shipper heart, because when people whisper they - typically - will go for the ear of the person they're trying to talk to. These two...don't. Also add to the fact that Amber closed her eyes the closer she got to Krystal, which is what most people do when they kiss right? Then notice Krystal leans in and kind of tilts her head a bit. It's just interesting to me.

 

If we're looking to prove that these two have something other than friendship going on, then this is a very important piece of evidence in my opinion.

 

We'll never know the truth of course, but what do you guys think?

We really do have to make this place more active, don't we? I should stop lurking so much. Anyway I'm reading that story too and I'm in love with it. It's one of those rare fanfics that I actually feel excited reading, and it helps that the author seems pretty consistant too. Another fic you may be interested in is called "You're A Peculiar Girl." It's incomplete and based on the prologue it seems like your heart's going to be ripped out of your chest, but it's wonderfully written.

I read that one too!! Do you have the other recommendation? Reading Kryber's ff is like another way to treat my Kryber's heart   

If we're trying to get people talking I guess we could try to do that thing where people go from like "Day 1 - Day X" and have each day be dedicated to a question/person/moment where we discuss it. I don't know how long it'll go for, but why not give it a shot? We could also try to just analyze old moments. I think other member's probably discussed them, but I only got into Kryber last year and I never got to, so I kind of want to.
