SM Entertainment confirmed on the 13th, "In the upcoming film 'Pirates', Sulli will play the role of pirate Heuk Myo ['Black Cat'] and will team up with the pirate captain Yeo Wuhl [son Ye Jin]." Heuk Myo will be the atmosphere maker of the pirate crew with her active and cheerful personality. 'Pirates', which will be directed by Lee Suk Hoon, has already been dubbed as the Korean version of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and approximately 10 billion Won (~8.9 million USD) will be invested into the film. The upcoming movie portrays the story of a group of pirates on the hunt during the Joseon Dynasty for a whale that swallowed a valuable treasure. Kim Nam Gil, Son Ye Jin, Lee Kyung Young, Yoo Hae Jin, Oh Dal Soo, Ahn Nae Sang, Park Chul Min, and Jo Dahl Hwan have so far already been cast for the film. Because "the Cao Ni Ma incident" is highly exaggerated. There is no "physical victim" in this case. No one was physically harmed or abused. If this film a hit, I'm pretty sure that it gonna help Sulli one way or another with her popularity and future acting opportunity. She is still way way way more recognize and popular than any EXO members in Korea, and also bright future ahead of her. The only thing EXOtics can do is leave her negative comments as usual, and she is not their favorite blah blah blah The same like Krystal, but look at her--she is in demand in cfs, photoshoots, acting and other tons of opportunities.This is the main goal that most idols want after they done with their idol life-setting their future. I'm not even worried about Jungli future, they are in the right path of building their own career (although they received alot of hate from other boygroup fandoms when they being associate with their boys ) . Sulli had alot of negative buzz after her this year, but she is fine. Based on this, she is alrite and still in demand.
