I mean there is noway that she is the least popular internationally ( she is somewhere in the middle) But they always say She Least popular, eventhough she is the least popular etc, like she is not as important as the other girls. I wish they would stop saying that, it's like they feel they need to prove and keep mentioning that so that more people will say it and believe it It gets on my nerve. Honestly, the best thing to do is just ignore it. We all know who is generally more popular and who is generally less popular. It's annoying when people feel the need to remind us, but they do it because they stan more popular members and it makes them feel better about the status of their biases tbh. They blow us off as "delusional" and say we complain too much because they don't understand what it feels like when half the fandom hates their bias. I can guarantee if people were constantly saying their biases were useless and should be kicked out of the group they'd react the same way Hyoyeon fans do. But if people want to choose their biases off of popularity, it's their perogative. I just don't count them as true fans. It is frustrating to see websites preach OT9 and then be so obviously biased. I'm not saying that anyone has to be OT9 or support or even like all the girls, but if you choose to follow that mentality, then you should actually follow it. Support everyone. Or don't. But don't say one thing and do another. No one likes people like that, it's tacky. The good thing about Hyoyeon not being as popular is that most of her fans are true fans. I'm not saying that people who stan the other members are fake or anything, but some of the more popular members certainly have some "bandwagon" fans. Hyoyeon doesn't have that; her stans are diehards who will support her in everything. That's what matters. At this point, Hyoyeon has obviously stopped giving any fucks, so don't be too worried about her. We can't force everyone to support all the girls equally. Just support her as much as you can, and hopefully other people will come around. If not, it's really their loss because she's a fun person to stan. So many drunk IG pics.
