i agree so much about how he just goes with the flow. hes a pretty chill guy. like in nct life bangkok i was a bit surprised when i found out his roommate in the hotel was mark whereas all the other hyungs were with someone their age. being the oldest he could use his authority and no one can say much to him but he lets all the boys treat him however lol he’s actually spoiling them.

when yuta said taeil should open a bit more to them, it sort of worried me. he has his shares of worries but he cant really share them even when he wants to :(. that said i think johnny always makes taeil feel at ease with him around. i would liek to see the 2 debut in same unit i want to see how they work. taeil is the type who doesnt talk much until asked, and i am really thankful to taeyong for making taeil talk he goes “taeil hyungie!†i think both rely on each other but never really show it which is a bit saddening because i love to see their interactions but its ok since they prefer it that way.

i wanted to say something about 94line too but i am still not sure how well they are together. they need be together too so i can die in peace lol

It's not a discussion, it's more like me rambling to myself since no one responded to me lmao (the perks of being the only active Taeil stan in the main thread  , which is why you should be more active in the main thread!). I posted this because someone talked about Taeil-Johnny interaction. 

Actually Taeil has been roommates with WinWin and Ten too, and I'm pretty sure WinWin was roomed with Taeil because of WinWin's Korean limitation and Taeil being the guy who accepts whoever will be his roommate. I remember Taeil saying he often talked to WinWin, but the subjects are often different than what he actually meant lol ('TI: Have you eaten? WW: Yes I'm already sleepy' thing). It gives me an impression that Taeil is definitely a patient and really nice guy to be trying to strike conversations with WinWin often despite having these kinds of convos, especially when Taeil is not a guy who talks much in the first place. Taeil is a really nice and warm guy is the impression I have on him. Yes he's spoiling them, and I think that's also why the younger guys like Taeil as well. Taeil seems to be loved by everyone (when Taeil wasn't around in NCT Life Seoul, they've been saying 'Taeil hyung must have liked this' 'it'd be nice if Taeil hyung was here', etc)

 

I think someone like Johnny and Ten fits someone like Taeil the best. Someone like JohnTen will push Taeil to be more proactive and experimental, as in goes outside of his safe zone. It will make Taeil be brighter and converses with people more often, especially when Taeil actually can be bright when he feels like it. Like what he stated, when he's bright he's really bright, but when he's quiet he's really quiet. Thus I'm not surprised if Taeil and Johnny got along really well, and with Ten too since Ten is really outgoing. I also think Johnny makes Taeil feels at ease because of Johnny's outgoing, humorous self accompanied by him being only one year younger than Taeil, and also Johnny started to train way ago compared to Taeil. Johnny also seems to be pretty perceptive and I guess this is why Johnny can be close to Taeil and can help Taeil a lot. I also want to see them debuting in the same unit, I'd like to see how their interaction would be. Maybe they'd be my ship, who knows lol

Yeah I agree. I don't think Taeil is as big into major skinship that these shippers feed on and go gaga over so you don't see a lot of buzz about Taeil pairings from fangirls cause he doesn't like to do that too much. I like 'ships' (I'm not sure I'd call it a ship, it's more an appreciation of their friendship) based on the specific bond rather than skinship necessarily. Though sometimes it goes hand in hand like when a member wipes off the sweat of the other member or reassuring another member by patting them on the back, etc. 

 

 

But words to me are personally more heartfluttering than someone putting their hands on another. Not that I don't appreciate the latter per se, it's just that I take more to heart when it's about their thoughts about the other member rather than showcasing the physicality between them. 

 

As said in NCT Life in Paju, Taeil seems like a reticent person and doesn't give his innermost thoughts up easily. But he's not cold. When Jaehyun sent him the message on NCT Life in Bangkok Taeil started crying because he was touched. So he does have sentimentality and a lot of emotions inside. 

 

During the radio show with Kyung Lim, they were sorta ribbing Taeil over how he cried and Taeyong interjected to say that Taeil was a person with a lot of concerns/burdens. So I think Taeyong picks up on that and understands, maybe even relates to him. Which is why they seem to have that bond.

A lot of the members said WinWin cause as they said he's a "giant baby" and has communication problems, so they're thinking of "take care of" in a literal sense, like feeding him ice cream or making sure he's comfortable. But I think TY meant he wanted to take care of Taeil in a more emotional sense. Because he knows Taeil is a person who seems to have a lot of internal troubles on his mind but he tries to internalize them and shoulder them on his own, which is why he doesn't open up about them much like what Yuta said during campfire. Maybe Taeil feels like as the oldest he has to keep his troubles to himself as to not burden the younger members. I think I enjoy the bonds between Taeil with Taeyong, Yuta because it seems like they're very emotionally perceptive of each other. I haven't followed Taeil's relationship with Johnny yet.

And these qualities of him is the main reason why I am drawn to him.

I don't really ship Taeyong-Taeil since I'm usually more into crack ships like Tom & Jerry couples (DoTen, DoTae), but what I like from their interaction is their interaction seems to be so sincere without being fabricated with fanservice much like the other usual ships. I love the tom and jerry pairings too because it reminds me of some of the relationships I have with my friends. The dynamic where you can rib each other and make fun of each other but are still friends. DoTae and DoTen haven't had much material to go on lately anymore due to differing promotions. I do like 2Tae though because it's really interesting and you have to do a bit more "analyzing". And it seems mature. A friendship between two adults, when you're amongst a lot of younger kids.

this was a really interesting read! I feel bad for all the production crew who had to work so hard and at such terrible hours. This means the boys are also staying up at really odd hours too and in the middle of promos. That sucks.

You need to get lucky. Tickets to get in fansign is usually included in the artists albums, then those tickets numbers would be picked in random by SM, and the lucky fans would get a notification via text or phone call (usually via texts). This is how the fans is chosen, thus many fans bulkbuy their albums in order to get into their fansigns. 

If the fansign is held outdoor, more likely you'll get to see them although you're not getting the tickets. But if it's held indoor, it's less likely to see them without the tickets because of limited space and sometimes they forbid you to enter if you don't have the tickets. This is as far as I know.

I can't really talk about his personal life but I somehow relate to him. Even though I am close with many people, I can't come to share my thoughts and feelings with them. More like there is no sense of attachment with people. That doesn't mean I have no love life and I've never dated people. I loved my exes when I was in relationship with them but after breaking up there is no feeling or resentment left. Same with friends or family. If someone asked me to choose between friend and love, I would end up saying none or friendship. (Maybe Taeil chose friendship during that time, cause he know he has friends who cares about him and is always there for him and doesn't have someone to love right now). People say that I have no care for things they don't really know all the worries or stuffs in my brain, just cause I don't say doesn't mean there is none.  (Hopefully Taeil shares all his burden with someone and not keep it in).

when i found out taeil and winwin were roomates i couldnt believe it because there is language barrier and taeil doesnt really talk alot. after seeing them interact a bit i was relieved they did seem to get along well and they said the talk a lot though we dont know they're conversing on same topic or not haha. even when he was roommates with ten and hansol and ten said the have a lot of fun in their room, dance and all. At first i imagined only hansol and ten dancing and taeil just lying on his bunk bed watching them but after nct in paju i can imagine his cheerleading lol. of course everyone loves him! what is there to hate lol.

Yeah actually I'm also similar with him about that. I also have a lot of concerns and worries but I barely share them with anyone even to those people who are the closest to me, so I can relate with Taeil in some ways. It's not like I deliberately not sharing with them, it's just I'm not used to it and I'm used to take care all of my worries and concerns by myself, so it feels so awkward to share it with other people. I wonder if Taeil feels the same way too.

Taeil also mentioned once that he's the type who can't express his affection freely towards people. Thus he might have those people whom he appreciates a lot, but he's too shy and can't express something like this well. I can relate with this as well, I have this one best friend whom I appreciate a lot for understanding me and being with me and all, but I don't express something like this very well and am shy as well. I think Taeil also probably feels the same way, maybe towards Taeyong who seems to care for him a lot and the others.
