Kangnam's voice cracks as he tries to sing higher than Jo Kwon '& Kang Kyun Sung

 

 

On the March 28th episode of 'Quiz to Change the World,' Kangnam's poor voice suffered when he faced off against Jo Kwon and Kang Kyun Sung in a singing challenge.

 

In the funny clip shown above, EXID's Solji starts off the song with her flawless vocals before the boys take turns trying to sing the line, "I'm okay, I'm okay," higher than each other. Although everyone starts off well, Kangnam breaks at his third turn, resorting to screaming instead of singing. Oh Kangnam.

 

Meanwhile, Jo Kwon and Kang Kyun Sung continue to impress with their ability to sing higher and higher. Kang Kyun Sung particularly stole the show with his very last turn, singing at a remarkably high pitch that blew the set away. Check it out!

There's rumors that Cream has left MIB.

 

 

I just thought I'd pop in since I didn't see a badge thread for MIB. Kangnam is on the list of badges that have to be changed this season, or the awards team will pick a new picture for it. The deadline for MIB is May 8th btw.

I want new badges but I don't know how to create them.

I don't even know if I could rally enough supporters based on how this thread looks right now.

Yeah we missed the deadline for submission of the badges, but next badge change season hopefully we'll get some new ones in ^-^. I heard the Cream rumour as well, but I know some people are also saying he's just working on a solo song/MV as is Kangnam, so I guess time will tell. Super excited for 5zic and Sims on SMTM4 though. I saw a few fan photos, and accounts that they were awesome (as expected tbh XD).

Well the good thing is we will probably get a lot of good pictures of them by next season.

 

I would have loved to see Cream on SMTM. Cream is very dramatic online but in reality he's a shy person.

 

I finally saw a clip of 5zic's audition for SMTM! I haven't heard other auditions so I don't know how he stacks up in comparison to others but I liked what I heard. His english was on point. Seem like he's been practicing.

 

I really hope at least 1 of them make it far in the competition (far enough to be memorable contestants).

Kangnam opens up his official Weibo account

 

M.I.B's Kangnam is now on Weibo!

 

The singer and his agency, Jungle Entertainment, confirmed and announced his new account via Twitter and fans are flooding his Weibo to follow and get the latest updates.  So far, he posted one picture of himself looking adorable on the set of a CF.
 

He's already fast approaching 1,000 followers.  Make sure you follow him here!

M.I.B's Kangnam set to release a solo album soon

 

 

M.I.B's Kangnam has been making his name as a variety star since last year, but there's good news for those that like him more as an artist!

 

His company Jungle Entertainment stated in a press release that Kangnam is set to soon release a solo album! He's currently working hard towards composing his album and other album preparations.

 

Kangnam has previously released solo digital singles and has taken part in "My Type" from 'Unpretty Rapstar', which have all been hits.

Kangnam expresses deep concern about his shows becoming canceled 

 

 

Kangnam became a household name pretty much overnight after his successful guest appearance on 'I Live Alone'. He made such an impact that he soon secured the permanent position on the show as well as scooping up casting offers for several others all around the same time! 

 

But of course not all variety shows end up successful and eventually get taken off the air to be replaced by others. Kangnam himself experienced this as a few of his shows were taken off air. He expressed his concerns on the latest episode of 'I Live Alone' where he opened up to veteran actor Kim Yong Gun. 

 

While having a meal, Kangnam revealed that he had a concern. "I was appearing in 5 programs. And i was really excited because all this work suddenly flooded in. It was to the point where I barely got to sleep three times a week."

 

"But suddenly among the 5, 3 suddenly disappeared [got canceled]. I became so scared about that. I was scared that another program I appear in might disappear too."

 

Listening to his young hoobae's worries, the veteran actor sympathized and consoled him saying, "It's not your doing that will cause a program to end," advising Kangnam not to blame himself for such situations.

Kangnam is a 'man of steel' in 'The Celebrity'

 

 

Kangnam might be quirky and even bizarre on TV, but he knows how to look good for the camera.

 

'The Celebrity' unveiled a couple shots of Kangnam from their recent pictorial with him and the concept was 'Man of Steel,' which suits his name (Kang Nam can be short for 'kanghan namja,' meaning strong man).  

 

Except for his bright platinum blonde hair, he toned things down with a mellow look befitting the upcoming autumn season.  Check out the crush-inducing pictures below!

Kangnam seduces with his a sweet gaze in teaser image for 'Chocolate'

 

 

Several days ago, Kangnam hinted at an awesome solo release with a bright and colorful teaser video for "Chocolate." 

 

Now the rapper is back with a teaser image that is just as bright! The picture shows Kangnam seducing you with a sultry gaze, a miniature liking of a vanilla soft-serve in his mouth. Jungle Entertainment's official Twitter uploaded a posting that read, "[#Kangnam] today at noon, the second teaser for #CHOCOLATE (Feat. San E) will be revealed! A surprising truth will also be revealed so at noon! Don't miss it and be sure to check it out. #whose hand is it in the teaser?"

Kangnam grabs more 'Chocolate' in a new teaser image

 

 

Kangnam is grabbing more "Chocolate" in a new teaser image for his upcoming solo comeback mini-album!

Jungle Entertainment posted the image above and reminded fans that the "Chocolate" music video featuring Nam Joo Hyuk and AOA's Minah will be out on September 10. As previously mentioned, Kangnam's title track "Chocolate" ft. San E is produced by the team Rphabet and described as a funky medium tempo song with an urban feel that completely matches his fun personality.

His first comeback stage will be on the 12th through MBC's 'Show! Music Core'! Stay tuned, and check out the MV teaser if you missed it!

Kangnam says you're like 'Chocolate' in his new MV ft. San E and starring Nam Joo Hyuk & AOA's Mina!

 

 

Kangnam's MV for his title track "Chocolate" ft. San E is finally out, and ready to make our hearts melt! 

 

In the catchy hook, Kangnam says "You're like sweet chocolate" in the colorful and fun MV featuring his friend (remember the two in 'Going to School'?) Nam Joo Hyuk and AOA's Mina. 

 

We have no idea what type of magic chocolate Nam Joo Hyuk is eating, which takes him into his romantic 'hallucinations', but we kind of want some.

 

There's a total of 6 songs in Kangnam's solo album, 4 of which he directly took part in composing! So besides watching the MV, be sure to check out the rest of his album.

Kangnam loses 22 pounds for 'Chocolate'

 

 

Kangnam's agency revealed that the M.I.B member lost 22 pounds (10kg) to prepare for his promotions for "Chocolate".

Jungle Entertainment said on September 11, "With his first music show stage ahead of him, Kangnam went on a strict diet, successfully losing 22 pounds in 3 weeks." As you can see in the photos above, Kangnam definitely slimmed down to promote "Chocolate", which features rapper San E. The healthy-looking idol now appears to be more trim.

Before his 'Show! Music Core' stage, Kangnam handed out chocolates to fans who were waiting to see him. He handed out chocolates personally, and afterward, his label Twitter posted, "Kangnam prepared chocolate! Did you receive it well? Please look forward to the first stage of 'Chocolate' on 'Show! Music Core' soon as well."
