M.I.B's Kangnam reveals that EXID Hani's manager told him not to get her number

 

 

On the January 18 broadcast of JTBC's 'Inside Story Salon', behind-the-scenes clips of M.I.B Kangnam and EXID Hani's '@star1' photoshoot were revealed. 

 

During the episode, Kangnam shared, "I did a photoshoot with Hani. An hour prior to shooting, Hani's project manager called me and said, 'Kangnam, you know what to do right? Don't ask for her number, and don't take pictures with her like you're her boyfriend. Take pictures with her like you're her oppa and she's your little sister.'"

 

Kangnam expressed his shock over EXID manager's protectiveness, saying, "I got annoyed. Although I don't know if there's a rumor saying that I'm the kind of person who gets numbers," causing viewers to laugh.

Kangnam recalls being slapped by a past girlfriend

 

 

On the February 5 installment of KBS's 'Happy Together 3,' trendy star Kangnam appeared and talked about a past girlfriend.

 

The topic first came up when fellow guest Sayuri dropped a bomb with, "At the Haneda Airport, one woman who was waiting for Kangnam grabbed his hair and hit him."

 

Kangnam explained, "I was in a band in Japan, and my current agency CEO said, 'Let's go to Korea together.'  At the time, the K-Pop wave was amazing, so I wanted to go to Korea. I had a girlfriend, but I went without telling her.  I wanted to return coolly after succeeding. However, she found out somehow and came to the airport.  As soon as she saw me, she slapped me.  My parents were there, too.  I was so shocked and my girlfriend kept crying, so I took her to a cafe to calm her down."

 

He then looked at the camera and apologized to his girlfriend.

 M.I.B's Young Cream under fire for belittling the Korean flag & giving fans attitude + apologizes

 

 

 

M.I.B's Young Cream has come under fire for his attitude towards his fans and belittlement of the Korean flag and its history.

 

He recently wrote, "Honesty, I don't like the red in our Korean flag. Later when I become the president, I'll change it ^.~ Does it make sense that our Korean flag has the color red even when we know what the red in the swastika and the Rising Sun flag both symbolize? I can't lie.. Don't live as you've learned please."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He then posted a photo of the Korean flag with the red completely blued out, writing, "I'm Korean. This is a my-flag that I got from the Korean flag ^.~".

 

 

Understandably, his tweets sparked worry from M.I.B fans, who thought the controversial words that seem to disregard the actual meaning and history of the flag and the nation, could bring problems for the group. Fans tweeted him to consider the group's position and to be careful as he is a public figure and he could bring about negative attention for the group. However, Young Cream only responded offhandedly by saying, "I was feeling down because I've never been in a controversy, but I want to be in a controversy ^.~ And the people around me are all living well and they aren't concerned [about this]."

 

 

Fans pleaded with him to reconsider and to understand that he is not simply a random person on the internet and that even if he was craving attention, that this wasn't the way to do it. However, Young Cream fired back at his own fans and told them that he had never asked them to follow him on Twitter and that his Twitter is like his personal diary. When fans asked him if he thought so little of his fans, Young Cream replied that those who agreed with him were his fans, but those criticizing him didn't seem to be. This left quite a few fans, who had been tweeting him out of sincere worry and concern, in a distraught state with some commenting that they were on the verge of tears. However Young Cream went on to insist that they have nothing to worry about because Korean reporters are too busy to write about him.

 

However, reporters did in fact take notice of his bold statements, and once his tweets were publicized in the media, netizens fired back at him. Realizing this, Young Cream then deleted all the controversial tweets and issued an apology in a series of tweets, writing, 

 

"I'm sincerely sorry. I didn't want to hurt the Korean flag at all, and I'm sorry that I caused trouble because I was just caught up in my emotions and did not reflect on what they meant. I'll use the words that I cannot take back that disturbed many people as a step toward becoming more mature. I'll become someone who can contribute to the nation by becoming a better person by considering this trouble I caused through my personal issue as another chance. I promise. I'm really sorry to everyone, including the thankful people who believed in me. I've deleted the problematic posts. I'll take all criticism toward me. But all of it was my own, foolish claims. Even though I am still immature, I don't think it's right that fans and those around me, who believe that I'll change and still give me a chance, defend me and support me no matter what. If I look back now, I crossed the logical line and I even hurt the fans who understood that and tried to help me. I want to apologize for that again. I'm sorry. Also, those words were my own disrespectful ones and are not from anyone else. So if you could criticize only me, I'll look after my mistakes and I promise to definitely grow into a better person. Lastly, I'm sorry."

Kangnam reveals which 'Unpretty Rapstar' he wanted and didn't want on his team

 

 

On the February 12 episode of Mnet's 'Unpretty Rapstar,' the participants were to go off on a rap battle after personally picking whose team to go on with Verbal Jint, Seulong, and Kangnam as the choices. 

 

In relation to this, Kangnam chose AOA's Jimin as the rapper he wished would come into his team.  He said, "I feel like if Jimin raps it, a lot of people would listen.  I feel like Jimin would come to me."

 

However, he showed the opposite feelings toward Jessi, saying, "I wish that strong person wouldn't come.  I wish Jessi would go into Seulong's team."

 

Ironically enough, Jessi chose to be in Kangnam's team in the end.  When she appeared, though, instead of showing an unwelcoming attitude, he appeared as if he were cheering her on.

 

Seeing this, Jessi said, "Kangnam's personality is very odd."

Kangnam to re-attend school he got expelled from in Hawaii for 'I'm Going to School'

 

 

Kangnam will be re-attending the high school he was expelled from in Hawaii.

 

He'll be spending 3 days along with Nam Joo Hyuk in Hawaii at his old high school. The variety show 'I'm Going to School' took a break from filming while Korean schools went on winter vacation, and Kangnam and Nam Joo Hyuk will be going to film in Hawaii to fill up the rest of the vacation weeks.

 

Kangnam will be facing the teachers that expelled him from school at his old high school, so it'll be interesting to see how he handles that situation.

 

The episodes will start airing in March!

M.I.B's Blue Cream says 'Enough is Not Enough' in new MV

 

 

M.I.B's Blue Cream (previously known as Young Cream) has dropped a new short but effective MV for "Enough is Not Enough."

 

The calming, mesmerizing beat provides the nice foundation to the rapping and singing. The smoke and urban background in the MV also create some cool effects, emphasizing the cool ambience of the track.

 

Sadly, the MV is on the shorter side, but still worth the listen!  Check it out above.

M.I.B's Kangnam picks out a celebrity stranger than himself

 

 

 

 

M.I.B's Kangnam picked out a celebrity that he feels is stranger than himself on the February 21st episode of 'Entertainment Relay'.

Kangnam was featured as one of the stars who'll be making 2015 shine, and though he was asked who he felt was an up-and-comer this year, he said he didn't know. The M.I.B member was also asked how he manages to come off so friendly, and he answered, "I'm not shy about getting to know people. I think that's why."

In terms of who he wants to become more like, Kangnam chose Lim Chang Jung, and he also picked out comedian Lee Guk Ju as the person he'd like to eat ramen with. 

The idol star is well-known for having a unique personality, but when he was asked which celebrity he feels is even stranger, he chose Kang Ho Dong, explaining, "He's really fun at get-togethers."

M.I.B's Kangnam and EXID's Hani to form a love line on 'I'm Going to School'?

 

 

Producer Kim No Eun of JTBC's 'I'm Going to School' recently revealed that Kangnam and Hani, in addition to Nam Joo Hyuk and Jimin, will become classmates! 

 

On March 3, the producer stated, "Kangnam and Hani have been placed in the same class for Gwacheon Foreign Language High School edition. Nam Joo Hyuk and AOA's Jimin will also be in the same classroom. Please have high anticipation for the chemistry between them." 

 

Meanwhile, Kangnam revealed on an earlier broadcast of MBC's 'Quiz to Change the World' that he would like to be married to Hani if he were to ever appear on 'We Got Married'. He also expressed his disappointment in not being able to ask for her number after their collaborative pictorial in the past on JTBC's 'Inside Story Salon', showing interest in the fellow idol. 

 

The Gwacheon Foreign Language High School edition of 'I'm Going to School' will finish their filming on March 4 and is set to air mid-March.

I'm pretty much a terrible OP, and many of you are probably gonna dislike me after I post this. 

 

This is gonna be a long ass post, and I'm just gonna spoiler this because I do wanna keep this thread positive, but I just need to vent.

 

 

 

 

But I just feel like I need to get this off my chest, and just hear what your guys' opinion is.

 

So I've basically been following M.I.B since debut, and I've just been supporting them ever since. We all know is great and awesome, but they still aren't that big in the music world. But we've been slowly seeing them get bigger and bigger. As a Buster, it makes me feel so great seeing this. 

 

But just lately... I'm just losing more and more disappointed CREAM and it actually kills me, because I love these boys so much, it's unbelievable. 

 

Maybe he's been going through a lot, I don't know, but I've just been getting the sense these days that he's just been so... egotistical. It was nice seeing him more and more active on twitter and all, but just some of the things he's been writing just really makes me feel uncomfortable. It's good to have confidence in what you do and your talent, but lately I just feel like he's going a bit overboard... There was that whole Korean flag incident... a few other tweets which aren't there anymore since he's deleted almost everything on his twitter... but I just think he's been crossing the line and it's just super bothering me lately. :( 

 

Now that he's made a Facebook page and he keeps talking about it, but just how he's talking about it really bothers me. Talking about his true fans and only he'll accept his true fans that are part of the Blue Squad. We ARE your fans Cream, but it makes it hard for me when you're acting like this and doing stuff that's really just... unacceptable. He tells everyone that he reads their messages and judges them like Simon Cowell on American Idol (which I know is probably a joke, but it's not that funny). And he writes he won't accept you on his Facebook page unless you change your profile picture to something Blue Squad related or of him, like really? He's acting like he's freaking jesus for crying out loud!!! 

 

Like I said, M.I.B isn't that popular yet, they are getting bigger and bigger, but their fanbase is still right now small. So please, Young Blue or Whatever Cream, please don't make our small fanbase even smaller... 

 

I know a lot of people may disagree and if you are heavily supporting Cream, I'm not against you or anything. I love Cream and the other members so much, and only want good things to happen to them, but I just hate seeing someone I love being like this. I just can't blindly support him and just look the other way if he does something I feel is wrong.

I don't follow his ass on twitter or FB so some of this is news to me. Not surprised though because he's had a history of being a phuckboy recently. He needs to be banned from twitter, fb, and soundcloud for a while (actually I think he did end up removing some of those tracks from soundcloud).

He's making MIB and his fans look bad.

I really hope he gets his act together.

 

And where is MIB's comeback? Why not hurry and have a comeback now that Kangnam's obtain attention for "My Type" and his varieties?

Nam Joo Hyuk suspects Kangnam of going under the knife

 

 

On a recent airing of JTBC's 'I'm Going to School,' Nam Joo Hyuk raised the suspicion of Kangnam going under the knife after seeing Kangnam's past school photos. 

 

On this day, Nam Joo Hyuk and Kangnam were seen visiting Kangnam's high school in Hawaii and, with the help from the school's principal, they were able to retrieve Kangnam's past yearbook photos. Surprised by the pictures, Nam Joo Hyuk playfully commented, "Where did you get work done?" 

 

Then Kangnam explained that he was around 90 kg (~190 lb) at the time the photos were taken and that he had to lose weight before debuting in M.I.B. 

 

However, Nam Joo Hyuk refused to let go of the topic and continued to tease Kangnam, saying, "Something about your face changed, but I don't think it was because you lost weight. You definitely had something done. You're definitely caught this time." 

 

Meanwhile, as it was previously reported, Kangnam and Nam Joo Hyuk will be joined by EXID's Hani and AOA's Jimin in the upcoming episode of 'I'm Going To School'!

M.I.B's Kangnam says his cousin is a huge fangirl of CNBLUE's Yonghwa 

 

We all know CNBLUE's Yonghwa is popular with the ladies, and M.I.B's Kangnam revealed the idol rock star has taken the heart of his Japanese cousin as well.

 

On the March 13th episode of 'I Live Alone', Kangnam brought his aunt and younger female cousin, Shoco, over to Jun Hyun Moo's house. When Yonghwa also came over, Shoco screamed from excitement. Kangnam said, "I've known Shoco for over 20 years. This is the first time I've seen her like this."

 

As they were eating, Kangnam told his cousin to ask Yonghwa what she wanted to ask.

So Shoco shyly asked Yonghwa, "Are you dating?" and Yonghwa said he wasn't. She replied, "I'm not either," hinting that the two should date. She then asked, "Can you take a picture with me?" to which he replied "of course," in Japanese.

 

She then asked him, "Can I have your autograph too?" and he replied, "Ff course," again. That's when Shoco asked him, "Can you marry me?" making Yonghwa flustered and laugh.

 

Jun Hyun Moo then joked, "Tell her of course!"

Kangnam reveals the girlfriend he had in Hawaii is now a Hollywood actress?

 

 

Kangnam talked about his high school girlfriend!

 

JTBC's 'Inner Thoughts Salon' brought up Kangnam's famous past photo. Yoon Jong Shin commented, "You look like a Japanese singer from the 80s." Kangnam explained, "This is when I used to weigh about 90 kg (approximately 198 lbs) in Hawaii in high school."

 

Yoon Jong Shin asked, "Is this about the time you got expelled?", and Kangnam joked, "I think it's 3 days before." Jin Joong Kwon joked, "He looks like one of those people in Japanese movies who do the chores for Yakuza bosses." Yoon Jong Shin then added, "Those people live for the longest in the movies!", making everyone laugh.

Kangnam explained, "I was really popular. I dated a Korean girl from another school. She's a Hollywood actress in America right now." She actually turned out to be a model, not an actress, but who do you think she might be?

Kangnam can't reveal his new bank account balance after rising to popularity?

 

 

M.I.B's Kangnam quickly rose to fame and popularity as a hilarious and quirky variety star after making headlines with a $3 bank account balance in the past.  Now that he has countless endorsement offers under his belt and is appearing on show after show, how much improvement has his balance seen?

 

The next variety show he appeared on was KBS 2TV's 'Hello' on March 16, where he said, "I'm happy because I suddenly have work coming in."

 

He was then asked about how much change his profit has seen.  Although he had been very open about the small amount he had in his account before, it appears things have really changed since!  He simply said, "It expanded a lot.  The agency told me not to disclose this," making everybody laugh.  

 

But this just raises curiosity even more, doesn't it?  How much are you thinking?

Kangnam worries about the possibility that his home has been broken into on 'I Live Alone'

 

 

 

Kangnam came face to face with the possibility that his home may be getting broken into on the March 20 airing of MBC's 'I Live Alone', leaving the idol quite worried.

 

In the episode, Kangnam did not have his front gate keys, so he had no choice but to jump over the wall to get in. Once he got over the wall, he noticed that a portion of the glass of one of the windows was broken. In addition, the window wasn't locked.

 

Kangnam said, "There are a lot of times when I leave my house empty. If someone comes into my house when I'm out, I wouldn't even know. I feel more scared because the glass is broken too. When I don't have my key, I can come in by jumping over the wall. I feel like someone else can get in by doing the same and that makes me nervous."

When he saw what happened, he called Kim Kwang Gyu on the phone and said, "I think someone keeps coming in." Kim Kwang Gyu first replied, "Plant a trifoliate orange tree. It has a lot of thorns." Then he gave more reasonable advice by saying, "Call a security company and ask them to install a camera."

 

Hopefully Kangnam takes Kim Kwang Gyu's advice to prevent future break ins!

Jo Kwon gives Kangnam advice on handling the surge and decline in popularity

 

 

2AM's Jo Kwon, aka the 'kkap king' and huge variety-idol, returned to the show that helped him become as popular as he is now - 'Quiz to Change the World'!

 

He appeared during the filming for the upcoming episode, which will be a 'Finding Friends' special. This was his first appearance on the show in a while, and he was greeted by rising variety-idol Kangnam!

MC Shin Dong Yup asked Jo Kwon, "As a variety sunbae, do you have any advice for Kangnam on what to be careful about?"

 

Jo Kwon said to Kangnam, "Popularity isn't forever. Earn a lot while you can." The ever so frank Kim Gu Ra also mentioned, "Kangnam seems to be a little at risk these days, doesn't he? Several programs that Kangnam appeared in have become canceled."

 

To this, Jo Kwon gave Kangnam wise advice, telling him, "At these times, it's important that you think of a lot of your own ideas and have them prepared for later."

M.I.B's Kangnam spends his birthday alone

 

 

 

Most people wouldn't want to spend their birthdays alone, but it seems Kangnam spent it alone by choice!

 

On the March 27th airing of 'I Live Alone', Kangnam spent his birthday by himself at a restaurant and ate kal-guk-soo (wheat flour noodle soup). After he ordered his food, he received a text message from a friend saying happy birthday.

Kangnam explained why he spent the day alone. "If I invite friends on my birthday, they're going to bring presents. Then I have to buy presents for my friend's birthdays too, and I don't have money to buy presents... so I'm spending my birthday alone," he said.

 

For those that might not know, Kangnam's birthday was just earlier this week on March 23. Happy belated birthday to Kangnam and we hope he doesn't spend his next birthday alone again!
