Do you think SM is bad at choosing title tracks?

Except for Red Velvet, TVXQ, Kyuhyun, Taemin, BoA, SM literally chose the worst songs in the album to promote

Examples:

Wolf (I seriously want to know what EXO's reaction was when they first heard the song, I was like "What the heck was that?" when I heard the demo xD)

Red Light

Rum Pum Pum Pum (I wish Toy was chosen instead >.<)

Crazy (Jonghyun)

I Got A Boy

Holler

Shake That Brass (I liked the song but I think other tracks were better)

....

(Give me more examples if you like)

I wonder why SM can't choose public-friendly songs instead. Thank god Kyuhyun was able to persuade SM to choose At Gwanghwamun

Do you agree with me?

Sorry if I offended those who liked the songs

I think they choose the song that can have dance , cuz ballad songs can be boring on stage ! .. I don't know but so far I like most of sm title tracks last year , this year not really into it but I am excited for shinee comeback

EXO has way better song's in the album than the tittle song.  Well to me they do.

of course the other songs are better. but CMB was obviously the more marketable song. people wanted El Dorado (although that is one song that i don't actually love) but i don't think it would have done nearly as well on the charts as CMB did

True, its all about what would make profit in K-pop.

But wouldn't of done the same? EXO fans are the ones supporting the song so it could chart so well for a long time, so what would be the difference if it was a different song?

I think they they choose the ones that are more marketable. The ones which would be better when performed and won't be boring to watch. And the ones that they think would solidify the image they want for their idols to the public.

I can see why the title tracks are chosen, because they are more marketable than their side tracks, but I prefer the side tracks much more.

How much I loved Holler album, the title track itself was very lacking and I am quite sad cause some people didn't give a chance to the other awesome stages like Adrenaline and Whisper because of it.

I got a boy turned out to a good performance song, so I ain't mad. Pink Tape, Red Light and XOXO are such good albums but RPPP and Red Light were ok-ish and Wolf was such a funny tragic mess.

I think SM should give them better and more public friendly songs.
