Let's hope the idols decide for themselves and no one forces them to do that, because they're young, sometimes underage and the disgusting beauty standards change all the time. Your face will never be the same, congratulations.

 

Don't glamorize this because I don't want to leave in a world where unnecesarry plastic surgeries are something normal. : - )

no, i disagree; people do plastic surgery because they want to look better because not everyone is born perfect (perfect proportions) and physically attractive, so when people use surgery to enhance their appearance it's their own choice, if people have money they should go with it. Who are you to make the decision for them, because it the end it only affects the person getting the surgery; so I don't understand what you mean when you say it's unethical and immoral

By the way, we have advanced  and technology; now in the 2015- onwards why don't we take advantage of what it available to us

I don't think plastic surgery is necessary, UNLESS you have like a medical deformity (cleft lip, just got a tumor removed and need to rebuild your face, etc.) or mutation.

 

We are all beautiful creatures. And we should stop letting beauty standards that are set by the media define us!

I don't blame people for doing PS. But I think it's a real social problem in Korea. It's not a good thing that in Korea there is just one definition of "pretty". Some parents even encourage their children to do PS... To me, it's sad and it totally goes against the idea of accepting yourself. Besides, it has been shown that PS acutally didn't boost ego, but at the contrary lowered it.

SO, my point is: PS is a sad thing, but in the end, people do whatever they want with their faces, and I personally don't think it makes them worse or better human being. I'd never judge an idol because of that.

I think anyone who wants to go under plastic surgery has to weight the pros and couns, but more importantly: See if they'll really like the results. I mean there are tons of computer programs that can predict the aftermath of surgeries so there's no excuse if someone ends up goind overboard.

I'm a fan of idols who had plastic surgeries because I know this is a normal thing in Korea.
