Giselle Queen Mina Knight 387
Ladies do you like to be called "noona, unnie" by people younger than you or do you find it awkward Gentleman. Do you like to be called "oppa or hyung" by people younger then you or do you feel awkward. I've had a few friends who calls me by "oppa" and I've been saying to them if they want to use Korean honorifcs just call me by "hyung" since I can never stand being called oppa due to is to feminine. Nekci 1,995
I'd rather not have someone call me unnie. I don't care if I get called jiejie though; the only ones who ever call me that are Chinese.

굿바 3,011
In America when speaking English? no. If I were in Korea again and my friend wanted to call me 'eonnie' I wouldn't have a problem with it since it's cute - but it would be dumb if I weren't speaking Korean. When I talk to my Korean friends I use honorifics like 'oppa' and 'eonnie' - interestingly though my two closest Korean friends are same age as me, so no cute names to be had
