And BamBam is also has the MC position on mcountdown as well as being pushed in varieties... So no, Jackson isn't the only one doing something. It's inevitable. Jackson has that aura around him that the other members lack. But with Jackson, every time he's solo and he does group activities he never forgets to mention GOT7. With Miss A, I feel like they're always competing with each other and there's no denying that there is some sort of tension between the members against Suzy. I really hope it doesn't end up that way with GOT7 and JYP lets the other members get some recognition as well. It's like Jackson's variety skills are making up for GOT7's mediocre music. Hopefully they don't get too dependent on Jackson to anchor the group. He seems humble and is the kind of guy who places others before himself. Jr. & Bambam MC Mcountdown, Jr. is filming a drama, all of the boys filmed DK w/JB as lead, they've been going to many Asian countries for awards and fan meets together as a group, and are preparing for their comeback now. Jackson gets more support from the company because he's really good with varieties and broadcast, but that doesn't mean he's becoming the male Suzy. JYP groups may have had an "most popular member" like all other kpop groups but never a member who is above and beyond the rest of the members in terms of popularity. That's why all JYP groups had the 1/n contract rule ie all group split income because they never really had a problem with it before until Suzy came along. Miss A in the beginning of their careers never had a problem either until Suzy's film catapulted her to superstardom while the rest of the group was idle. Just look at WG, Sohee was really popular but that was due to the fact that her group was highly successful which catapulted her to fame. But the rest of the WG members were all very relevant and Sohee was just the most popular. So I don't think everyone should just assume that all JYP groups have this problem where one member is far more popular than the rest cause they don't. Miss A was just the odd ball and Suzy was just very lucky. Their are few members of Got7 getting a fair amount of activities. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maybe not, but it feels like it. They have had tours in multiple cities in Japan, they went to like 8 Asian countries and just wrapped up 3 cities showcases in America, Miss A as a group never went to America. They have done more varieties together than Miss A for sure. Jr. has an acting job, and he and Bambam are MCs of MCountdown. Jackson hasn't been on a variety show since Roommate ended.
