soyundorito 828 Posted May 11, 2015 Share Posted May 11, 2015 [TRANS] Pann: Irene's school days5/8/2015 I got close with this unnie who transferred to our school, and Irene came up during our conversation about idols ㅇㅇBut this unnie suddenly mentioned that "she's from the same junior high school as me."I didn't believe her at first, but her age was the same and this unnie was from [the same neighborhood] and attended Woonam Junior High School ㅋㅋ[basically the unnie was going to say some things about Irene anyway since she's getting more recognition, and the OP wrote what she heard for the Red Velvet fans.]First off, Irene was really, really pretty during junior high, too.She was so pretty that even though she was as quiet as an outsider, people from other schools knew who she was ㄷㄷShe was the center of attention no matter where she went, and if she went out, people would just blatantly stare at her and even turn around to look again because she was so pretty ㅋㅋㅋㅋEven when she went to reading rooms (t/n: think study rooms or those sectioned-off desk-cubicles in the library), male junior high and high school students would follow to see her instead of study;Woonam Junior High was a co-ed school, and you know how the guys would tease/harass the girls a lot during junior high, right??But they never teased/harassed her too hard ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ So this unnie said she was a little jealous during this time ㅋㅋAnd during the 1st year of junior high (7th grade), Irene was in the last class (t/n: Korea has each grade sectioned off into "homeroom" type of groups - you're basically with these people the entire year in the same class, if that makes sense), so their class would be on the same floor as the 3rd years (9th grade). All the 3rd year oppas would hurry and come in packs to see her as if they were seeing a celebrity and leave her delicious things to eat. All the unnies doted on her too...If you saw her up close, her skin didn't have a single blemish, and her face structure was really pronounced but small (t/n: I can't really think of a good direct translation for 오목조목, but it kinda means her features were small/petite/squished together in a really nice way Idk I'm sorry).Her eyes were big, but her double eyelids had several layers/folds so they looked even bigger. The bulb/tip of her nose was really skinny/small so when you looked at her from the front, her nose looked small, but if you saw her profile, it looked tall/raised like she put silicon fillers in there. Looks like some kind of media play because previous post on Irene's school days say a bit different about her, that she was just a regular school girl but looked like Park Hanbyul.
