As many of you know I made a thread saying "can we ban suga'smeatflaps" in which both sugga and I were kidding around in (wasn't my first thread like that I made to kid around with my OH frans!) Anyway I received a warning point..the hem of my dress got jammmed in my door's lock yesterday it was my favorite dress i'll post a pic of that later but that's off topic so back on topic :imstupid:. I messaged the moderator both suga'sgf and I and stated "well it was a joke no party is offended" this moderator basically told me "You're way of joking is not accepted here either you change it or keep getting wp's." I replied to this moderator who then read what I said and refused to reply so I was going to message an administrator but I said "Let me see if he replied firsst." When I went to do this..the message was deleted. I had no say.. I didn't receive the choice we usually do when a message is deleted from that persons end and you can still access it until you delete it. It was deleted removing the evidence of what this moderator said lol... quite frankly I'm off receiving the warning point the lovely admin explained it to me and I'm Jusst like okay.. Shout out to MOG for telling me how to file an appeal btw..she was a sweetheart! What I'm really peeved at is the fact my choice to access that message was taken away from me.. which brings up a next point if moderators can delete a message from both their side and my side without my consent/say who's to say they really can't access people's messages without their consent or say? This really opened my eyes and I hope you guys mind what you say/post in your messages.

.

And like last year before I was even a member there was a whole thing about mods being able to access people's messages. But there are probably hundreds of messages sent a day so they probably have better things to do than care.

This type of thing is going to keep happening on onehallyu because the mods can do what they want. They serve the site not the members.

Maybe if you guys would stop treating this forum like your personal chat room..... or an American Teen Drama.

I see you didn't read the entire post cause idgaf about the wp anymore as I said a lovely admin explained it to me this is about the fact that my right to delete/keep a mesage was taken away without my consent

Wait so the mod deleted their own message to you? I mean that's unprofessional since communication should be transparent and recorded if later needed for receipts but if it's their own message ig they can delete it when they want. shade af tho

Or am I not really understanding?

lol @ your way of joking is not accepting here and then your post getting deleted. some of the mods are stank as hell & like giving warning point for petty shit but then when something that actually deserves a warning point happens they're nowhere to be found until way later after they've 'evaluated' the situation for 5 days, 16 hours, and 22 minutes. foh

Y'know, if you guys feel you're being oppressed here on OH!, you are free to go join other forums...

That's like saying "If blackpeople feel oppressed in america they should tuck tail and go somewhere else" Your logic is flawed if Rosa parks gave up her seat and didn't stand (well sit) for what is right where would persons of color be today? If Martin Luther King didn't stand for what is right where would I and many others be today. Once more your logic is flawed.

"who's to say they really can't access people's messages without their consent or say?"

I was always under the impression that they could access private messages, tbh.

Anyway, I can understand why the need for caution on the mod's end but if you both explained how it was a joke, I don't really see the need for a warning point...jeez.

Honestly, you should just say who the mod is. Pretty suspect of them to delete a message like that.

You know you're in too deep when you start comparing the way a kpop forum is run with the Civil Rights Movement...
